I don't think Smriti Mandhana did the hard yards early enough. She had to go back quicker.
A difficult chance but one you expect that she would have taken.

Originals 107-2
Oooh, close!
Deandra Dottin is trying to hit everything out of the ground but nothing is coming out the middle of the bat.
This one skews high up in the air and Smriti Mandhana can't cling on to a difficult chance running backwards from mid-off.
No fireworks from Dottin yet as she just takes a few balls to get her eye in.
At the other end, Wolvaardt is 43 from 36 so she may be the one to hit the accelerator first.
Manchester Originals have confirmed that Sophie Ecclestone injured her right shoulder in the warm-up, and that she has gone to hospital for further scans and an assessment.
Deandra Dottin has been waiting all tournament to come in with a platform like this set for her power hitting.
How much damage can she do with 20 balls remaining?

Joe Root is causing chaos because that is a Joe Root-style shot. It was on, a bit more bat and it would have flown over the keeper's head.
Really good innings from Fi Morris.
Morris c Southby b Bell 50 (Originals 95-2)
Fifty and out!
Morris tries to accelerate with an ambitious reverse pull shot but it's a well-directed bouncer from Lauren Bell. There's a faint edge and Morris has to depart for exactly 50 from 39 balls.
Carlos Brathwaite
West Indies all-rounder on BBC Two
Much deserved debut fifty from Fi Morris. A breakout year with the bat.
Originals 94-1
Fi Morris dabs a single to short fine leg and that brings up a very composed half-century.
It comes from 38 balls, having steadied the ship after Originals' early loss of Emma Lamb. It's now time to kick on.
Bit of luck this time for Wolvaardt, who gets an edge off a loose drive that trickles away to the boundary.
Anya Shrubsole has been uncharacteristically expensive so far. She's conceded 29 from her 15 balls.
Here we go!
Laura Wolvaardt crunches the ball down the ground for four off Anya Shrubsole. She's more known for her timing than power, but that went like a rocket.
The Originals have got a solid platform but with 35 balls left and nine wickets in hand, they need to kick on now.
Milking the singles off the spinners isn't going to get them enough to defend against Brave's ridiculously strong batting line-up.
But spin is working well on this pitch and so Danni Wyatt, more known for her brutal hitting with the bat, has a twirl.
She starts well, too - just the four singles scored.
Fi Morris has played the spinners really well. She lofts Chloe Tryon down the ground for a couple more.
The partnership between Morris and Wolvaardt continues to build and Brave continue to search for a breakthrough.
Morris has 36 and Wolvaardt 18, and they've set a nice platform for the Originals at the halfway mark.
Kate Cross
England bowler on BBC Two
Fi Morris has played a good hand here. She's been threatening in this tournament but hasn't quite got going.
Today feels like a good day for her.
Shot!
Fi Morris breaks the shackles with a beautifully-timed sweep for four.
Brave's spinners are doing a solid job of tying the batters down, with Chloe Tryon whizzing her way through another set of five.
Georgia Adams, as well as being the leading wicket-taker, completes the impressive effort of bowling while chatting on the player mic.
Sophie Ecclestone is spotted up on the Originals balcony with her arm in a sling.
Georgia Adams ticks through another tidy five balls as Morris and Wolvardt tick the singles over.
