Fi Morris has started nicely here. She smacks Kalea Moore back over her head for four.

    A touch of class.

Here is how they got that first breakthrough.

  4. Originals 32-1published at 25 balls

Another lovely shot from Fi Morris, lofting one over the covers for four.

That completes the powerplay and despite the early wicket of Lamb, the Originals have rebuilt steadily.

It's their best powerplay score of the competition so far.

  5. Originals 27-1published at 20 balls

Georgia Adams jokes on the player mic that the Brave players are under pressure from their captain Anya Shrubsole to directly make the final because she desperately does not want to play two consecutive games.

They've made a pretty good start at making sure that happens.

  6. Originals 21-1published at 15 balls

    Back-to-back boundaries for Fi Morris!

She tentatively prods at three dot balls before getting a lucky edge that flies past short third, before playing a bit more convincingly to clip one off her legs.

An expensive start for Shrubsole, conceding 14 runs.

  7. Originals 12-1published at 11 balls

    Glorious from Laura Wolvaardt.

Anya Shrubsole starts with a wide, and Wolvaardt nails her trademark cover drive for four from the next ball.

People used to laugh at Georgia Adams when she asked to bowl in the nets a couple of years ago.

Now she is taking wicket after wicket in The Hundred.

    Four and out!

Georgia Adams keeps chipping away at that wickets column. Emma Lamb tries to hit over the top but picks out Kalea Moore at cover.

It's a tame dismissal, and one that sumps up Originals' batting struggles so far.

  13. Originals 7-0published at 7 balls

    No Shrubsole yet.

The competition's leading wicket-taker Georgia Adams is into the attack early, but Emma Lamb thumps her second ball for four.

Against the Originals openers, Anya Shrubsole has a great record in T20s and The Hundred.

The former England seamer has dismissed Emma Lamb three times in eight runs, while conceding just 45 runs from 50 balls.

Against Laura Wolvaardt, her record is even better. Two dismissals in three innings with just seven runs conceded from 10 balls.

  15. Originals 3-0published at 5 balls

Lauren Bell struggles a little with her line, sending down a couple of wides, but Laura Wolvaardt can only manage one run off the bat.

Manchester Originals' Mahika Gaur on her England call-up, speaking to BBC Two: "So special. I wasn't expecting it but now I'm so excited for it, I can't wait.

"Firstly, when I made my international debut [for UAE], I wasn't expecting it but I didn't really know what was going on. I could just go out and bowl how I wanted to. There was nothing to lose, no expectation.

"When I was younger, I always pictured myself in an England jersey, bowling at Lord's. The fact it's come so soon, I'm so grateful."
