It's too wide and Phil Salt slashes it through point for four.
Phil Salt has just aimed a brutal shot over the leg side.
Had he connected that might have cleared the newly built hotel at Old Trafford.
As it was, he missed and the ball only narrowly missed the stumps.

Former England captain on BBC Two
Brilliant from Buttler. Originals have got a tremendous start now.
Shot!
Mitchell Santner is back from the other end so Jos Buttler gets down quickly and nails the reverse sweep.
Past backward point for four. That raced away.
The set ends with a firm pull from Phil Salt and the ball lands just short of the fielder at deep backwards square.
Decent start for the Originals but this pitch is giving the bowlers - seamers and spinners - plenty of encouragement.

Slightly too full from George Garton and Phil Salt takes advantage.
Full and fast from George Garton but Phil Salt clears his front leg and smashes the ball back over the bowler's head for six!
Big hit from the Originals opener.

Wow. That is a ripper.
Good evening to the England captain!
That is sharp from George Garton!
The left-arm seamer starts with a bumper that Jos Buttler has to sway clear of in a hurry. The ball flies over the wicketkeeper's head and four byes are given.
UltraEdge shows Buttler has been done out of some runs. That came off the glove.

As a spinner in these conditions, I'd be licking my lips.
Not quite the same dramatic turn from Mitchell Santner for the rest of the set but no mre runs conceded either.
Jos Buttler tries to reverse sweep the fifth delivery but end sup sending the ball into his helmet via his forearm.
Wowzers, that has turned square from Mitchell Santner!
Phil Salt just gets a toe-end of the bat to it for a single but that will have all the spinners licking their lips.
Cries of "catch it" from behind the stumps but Phil Salt's back-foot punch gets through the covers and away for four.
I fancy batter and bowler will be happy enough after that.
Here come Southern Brave. This is a huge game for them, win and they go through to the Eliminator, lose and they're out.
For Manchester Originals, only a very heavy defeat would see them miss out on the top three but they'll want to keep the momentum going ahead of the knockout stages.
Mitchell Santner will bowl the first five for Brave.
Two of Brave's most influential bowlers this season have a poor record against Jos Buttler in T20s and The Hundred.
Tymal Mills has not dismissed the England white-ball skipper in the three innings he's bowled to him, conceding 39 from 25 balls at a strike-rate of 156.
But that is better than Chris Jordan's record against Buttler. Four innings, no wickets and 35 runs from 16 balls with a whopping 219 strike-rate.

Batting first has worked more often than not during this year's competition.
Manchester Originals are a formidable team and Brave only have one option, and that is to win.
In T20s and The Hundred, Chris Jordan has dismissed Phil Salt twice in the space of 18 balls while Salt has always looked to attack him. Could be a good risk/reward scenario for Brave.
Their head-to-head stands at four innings, two dismissals, 18 runs, 10 balls, average 9, strike-rate 180.
As the third season of The Hundred draws to a close we want you to pick your men's team of the tournament.
We've brought together the top run-scorers and wicket-takers and looked at the best strike-rates and economy rates to provide you with a list of names.
We've given you some stats - runs, average (ave) and strike-rate (SR) for the batters, wickets, average (ave) and economy rate (ER) for the bowlers and a combination for all-rounders - to help you with your decision.
The final team will be revealed on Sunday, 27 August. Good luck picking your team, and don't forget to share it on social media using #bbccricket, external.

Manchester Originals captain Jos Buttler on BBC Two: "Feeling good, we've been playing some nice cricket over the last little period.
"There's good confidence in the group so we're looking forward to tonight.
"We have to play what we see in front of us, play the conditions. We've been good at home so far, we've adapted well.
"It's a used wicket but sometimes they can play better the next time you play on them so you've got to be open to see what happens.
"I'm not too interested in par scores, I'm interested in winning scores. If we get 10 and they get nine then I'm happy."
