Heather Knight grimaces. I'm not sure she knows.
Knight c Sanjeewani b Dilhari 22 (Eng 99-3)
Hmm, Heather Knight departs.
A rather soporific over from new bowler Kavisha Dilhari, it felt like England were just drifting towards their total.
But Heather Knight attempts to sweep Dilhari's final delivery and the ball catches the glove on the way through to Sanjeewani behind the stumps.

Seeing Sri Lanka play the way they have in today's game, I know it's a different format, it makes the T20 series defeat for England all the more brutal.
England can be pretty embarrassed.
Knight and Bouchier exchange singles and England are eleven runs away from going one up in this series.

It was a honking delivery.

When you can dream of what ball you want for your free hit, that's the one.
Ranasinghe oversteps and that's a free hit coming!
It's a dreadful delivery and Bouchier takes advantage, slapping the ball over mid-off for four.
Better line from Ranaweera for the rest of the over, just one more single from it.
She's only delaying the inevitable, with England likely to secure their win in the next few overs.

Carbon copy. Wide outside off stump, full and driven through the covers.

Another lovely cover drive from Heather Knight. England have played some beautiful drives in the past 10 or 15 minutes.
Consecutive fours for Heather Knight and this target is rapidly hoving into view.
Two drives through the covers off Ranaweera, who's offering up plenty of width on the off-side.

Not a bad way to open your account in ODI cricket. Hitting through the field, all along the ground.
England bring debutant Maia Bouchier up the order, presumably feeling they can afford to offer Nat Sciver-Brunt the day off.
She finds her first ODI runs with a four from her third delivery, driving through the covers.
Lamb c de Silva b Ranasinghe 27 (Eng 73-2)
Emma Lamb sends the ball high... caught!
Wide-ish delivery from Ranasinghe, Lamb's eyes light up but she's stretching slightly and can only send the ball right into the hands of de Silva at mid-off.
Quieter over as England work Inoka Ranaweera for singles on their way to this low target.
Emma Lamb hustles through a run with a push down the ground. Ranaweera throws down the stumps at the non-striker's end but there's no risk of a run-out there.

Ufff, what a shot from Heather Knight. It was the perfect cover drive.
Beautiful shot from Knight!
She steps into a looping delivery from Oshadi Ranasinghe and creams the ball to boundary. Textbook drive.
England were 23-0 after the first six overs - they've put on 47 runs in the next six.
Knight gets off the mark as Ranaweera draws another edge, the ball escaping safely for two down to third.

That is a brilliant diving catch. It was wide, wide, wide outside off stump and tempted Tammy Beaumont but it was too full for the cut.
Beaumont c Perera b Ranaweera (Eng 61-1)
That's the breakthrough!
Beaumont tries to cut Inoka Ranaweera, but it's a full delivery and she's deep in her crease. It's a thick edge and the ball lands comfortably in the hands of Hasini Perera at gully.
The England opener walks off, evidently frustrated she hasn't seen her team through to their target. Heather Knight replaces her in the middle.
