A good comeback from Ranaweera, just five from it.
Sciver-Brunt and Bouchier are showing their class though at rotating the strike, even when the boundaries aren't coming.
Back-to-back fours for Nat Sciver-Brunt, who is providing a masterclass at playing spin here.
She moves to 46 and alongside Bouchier, is setting England a very nice platform indeed.
Bouchier 37, Sciver-Brunt 36
Another profitable over for England with 15 runs coming off it.
After a promising start, Sri Lanka are struggling in the face of some aggressive counter-attacking cricket from Nat Sciver-Brunt and Maia Bouchier.

That's the biggest six of the lot! That's humongous from Maia Bouchier, who has gone back in her crease and smacked it miles.
Thank you very much!
Bouchier deposits the free hit into the stands for six.
Oops. A horror start for Karunaratne as another full toss is sent down, but this time it's way too high and is called a no-ball.
Bouchier gets a free hit...
A freebie from Karunaratne, a full toss on leg stump that Maia Bouchier gratefully puts away for four.

We've not seen Nat Sciver-Brunt since the Ashes but she's picking up where she left off earlier in the summer so far.

England are not as good against spin. Ash Gardner tore thought them in the Ashes while Sri Lanka's spinners did the job in the T20 series. So that explains why Sri Lanka want to get their spinners involved so early, but Nat Sciver-Brunt is a very good player of spin.
Not quite as much elegance in this one as she tries to launch another down the ground, but edges it into her ankle instead.
A nasty one that makes her hop around in pain - but still well enough to get down on one knee and firmly sweep the last ball of the over for four.
Threaded through the off-side once again with ridiculous ease from Sciver-Brunt.
She's showing England exactly how to play spin here. So much control.

That was a shot of enormous intent by Nat Sciver-Brunt.

She kept her shape perfectly with that six. Reminds me of the way she played on the golf course the other day!
Well, it's pretty clear that Sciver-Brunt is not going to allow Sri Lanka's spinners to dominate today.
A sumptuous six is lofted down the ground and England take 17 from the over.
Class as ever from Nat Sciver-Brunt.
Ranaweera drops short on two occasions and England's star batter puts them both away for four.
The first is cut perfectly off the back foot, the second pulled through mid-wicket.
A gift for England as Chamari Athapaththu bowls a wide that beats the keeper and races away to the boundary as well.
There was a hint of turn though, so that'll keep their spinners interested.
Good running in the rest of the over ensures England take 13 runs from it.

Achini Kulasuriya is creating problems for the English batters with her movement off the surface.
The powerplay concludes with a big swing and a miss from Maia Bouchier, greeted by an appeal from the bowler but there's no review.
It's been another good start from the visitors, who are staying patient and testing England with their consistency. England have tried to attack the seamers, but it's cost them two early wickets.
Again, Nat Sciver-Brunt is in early to play the rescuing role for England.
It's one that she does so well, as one of the world's best batters, but there's still frustration around England's top order dismissals.
Saying that, Maia Bouchier keeps up her attacking intent with two lovely boundaries down the ground to ease the pressure.
