Tuk-tuks to get around the stadium concourse… I like it.

  3. Eng 125-4published at 23 overs

Another tidy over from Rachin Ravindra, who has come back well after being taken down by Harry Brook in his first.

Just four singles from it as Joe Root and Jos Buttler try to rebuild for England.

  4. Eng 121-4published at 22 overs

The England captain Jos Buttler is the new batter and he is off the mark first ball with a single to mid-wicket.

Glenn Phillips then gets away with a drag-down as Joe Root's firm sweep shot runs out to the fielder in the deep.

Just three from the over and the wicket.

It's the grubbing nature of the delivery that does for Moeen. Phillips cuts his fingers under the ball, making it more likely to skid on.

  6. wicket

    Moeen b Phillips 11 (Eng 118-4)

Bowled 'im! Glenn Phillips strikes second ball!

A bit short from the part-time off-spinner, Moeen Ali goes back and tries heave the ball leg side.

However, it turns a little and stays a touch low. Straight through Moeen and into the timbers. Big wicket for New Zealand.

These are going to be really interesting middle overs because most teams with have T20 batters in this stage and their eyes light up when they see only four fielders out, not five.

England are in a very good position. They can set a platform for that long lower-order.

  9. Eng 118-3published at 21 overs

    Moeen 11, Root 32

Singles are the order of the day, or at least that over.

Six of them from Rachin Ravindra's latest to keep England ticking over.

    Thanks, Ffion.

This innings is very nicely poised at the moment. However, with New Zealand having to use a few part-timers through these middle overs, England will hope to work themselves into a strong position from which to launch late on.

  11. Eng 112-3published at 20 overs

Solid in defence from Moeen Ali, who is just taking his time to settle in after pummelling that four to get off the mark.

It's on a knife-edge at the moment with neither team really stamping their authority on the innings.

To take you through the next 10 overs, here's Sam Drury.

The game is really quite coolly poised. If New Zealand get a wicket and it's 106-4 inside 20 overs, they're absolutely thrilled.

If England add a partnership of 60 or 70, less so.

Ravindra did get his reward, though.

He got Brook in the end.

  14. Eng 109-3published at 19 overs

Rachin Ravindra recovers from his Harry Brook-induced battering in his first over, as England tick just four singles from his second.

Another short ball and it's been punished by Moeen Ali.

Just a poor delivery from Jimmy Neesham and good players will catch up with that.

  17. Eng 105-3published at 18 overs

Moeen Ali comes in ahead of Jos Buttler.

And despite the departure of Brook, they are going to keep attacking. Joe Root clips Jimmy Neesham for four down to fine leg before Moeen gets going in style with a ferocious pull shot to the boundary.

If these two get going, we could be in for a very stylish partnership.

A crazy over: 15 from it and a wicket. That's one-day cricket for you.

There's the license we talked about for Brook. Sometimes it can be your friend, sometimes it's your enemy and fourth time round, it's your enemy.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17 overs

    Brook c Conway b Ravindra 25 (Eng 94-3)

Make that four, four, six... and out.

It's another horrible short ball from the under-pressure Ravindra, but Brook fails to time it.

He goes for another almighty heave into the stands but picks out Devon Conway on the boundary. In the England dugout, Ben Stokes looks to the sky in disappointment.

An expensive over from Ravindra but he's got the huge wicket of Brook, who was just starting to tick.
