A soft dismissal as Jonny Bairstow, who was well-set, just chips one up towards long-off where Daryl Mitchell takes a decent sliding catch.
It looked like Bairstow was trying to aim to hit over cover, but just got it a little too straight.

We're going to see some teams punished for slow over rate in this World Cup. In this heat, the spinners are going to have a job to get through their overs quickly as well as being economical.
Steady as ever from Mitchell Santner - just the three singles from his over.
He whizzes through his overs too, which is good for the over-rate but not particularly helpful for the poor seamers who barely get any respite at the other end.
And here is that wicket of Dawid Malan.
We know he's in very good form, having scored heaps of runs against this opposition last month, but he didn't quite get going today.

Just a slightly fuller delivery from Henry and Bairstow is onto it in a flash outside off stump. Nothing wrong with the line if the ball was shorter but once it was fuller, Bairstow could capitalise.

You'd probably say England are still in control despite the loss of Malan, but New Zealand haven't let it get away from them, either.
Joe Root may have been going through a slump in form but he should enjoy starting his knock against spinner Mitch Santner here.
Root averages an excellent 68.43 against spin in ODIs.
Another solid over from Mitch Santner, just the five runs and no boundaries from it.
The Yorkshire duo of Bairstow and Root meet for a glove punch in the middle, and these two batting together always gives a sense of security, doesn't it?

Dawid Malan may not have been at his best but one calm head replaces another as Joe Root strides to the middle.
He wasn't in the best of form in the series against New Zealand that preceded this, but he is still so important to England's middle order.

It's very wide and Dawid Malan can't resist having a flash at it, getting a thick edge through to the keeper.
He looks disappointed, but New Zealand are delighted with a breakthrough that they had to work very hard for.

Dawid Malan seems to get an edge on a quicker ball from Santner, and it goes so quickly through Latham's gloves.
We're yet to see a replay but that may be a big moment.
