I am a little bit interested that India have opted to play Shardul Thakur over Mohammed Shami.
Shami has expertise with the ball, while Thakur is more of an all-rounder.
Thakur does hit a length but he doesn't have much pace so he can be lined up.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit the first six of the match with this lovely shot off the bowling of Shardul Thakur.
Shardul Thakur bowls a beamer as the ball slips out of his hands and forces Rahmat Shah into evasive action.
The next ball is a free hit, until Thakur bowls a wide. The next ball - still a free hit - is straighter and Afghanistan scramble a single.
