Afghanistan had a good over against Chris Woakes previously, but I am not sure what Azmatullah Omarzai was trying to do there. He was building a partnership with his team-mate and then just got bored.

Two wickets in two balls really changed this match, with the second seeing Gurbaz run out on 80 when he was very well set.

At the halfway point, Afghanistan are virtually at sixes, two good boundaries come from that over, almost 10 overs after not scoring any.

They would have taken this, you would suspect, before a ball was bowled, but the first 25 overs have had a few twists and turns.

Four this time from Azmatullah Omarzai, almost stopped by some good work in the field Harry Brook.

Chris Woakes' attempt of the wider ball is crunched to the left of Brook at deep cover point, who was unable to keep it out.

That is a great shot down the ground. A slower ball from Chris Woakes but Azmatullah Omarzai is straight on to it and deposits it over the boundary.

Another tidy over from Liam Livingstone, who very nearly picked himself up a wicket.

Four runs come from the over, but for Afghanistan, their wait for a boundary continues to grow and grow.

In line, but that delivery was tracked as going just over the top of the stumps, ever so slightly. Delight for Afghanistan.

Liam Livingstone's delivery hits the pad of Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah and England take it upstairs.

A better over as far as Afghanistan are concerned, no boundaries but they do add eight runs.

They will hope to build on that and regain their earlier pressure.

A half chance for England and almost another cheap run out. Liam Livingstone, picking up the ball close to the non-striker's end, opts to throw to Jos Buttler and it is quite wide, giving Buttler not a lot of chance to dismiss Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi. Livingstone apologises.

This was the moment of concern for Reece Topley, leading to him leaving the field for a period of time. The good news, he is back in the game.

Rashid's previous over is matched by Livingstone at the other end, again going for just two runs.

The run rate was well into the sevens and eights just a few overs ago, but now it is below a run a ball and continuing to decline.
