I know it is very hot, but there is an awful lot of drinks being run out and umpire's are getting batteries for their comms changed. No innings has been anywhere near close to the official time of three and half hours.

It feels like 50-over cricket has moved on a lot in recent years, 300 is a minimum score now.

  3. Aus 231-2published at 35 overs

An over that will help Bas de Leede's economy rate as just three come from it.

David Warner, perhaps knowing how close he is to three figures and not wanting to take an unnecessary risk, plays out four dot balls to end it.

De Leede has conceded 39 from his four overs so still work to do to drag that economy rate down to where he'd want it to be.

Marnus Labuschagne has always had nice touch, he moves around the crease and plays the ball late.

  5. 50 runs

50 for Marnus Labuschagnepublished at 34.2 overs

    Aus 230-2

Marnus Labuschagne reaches his half-century from 42 balls.

He's going very well and has ensured there has been no slowing in momentum for Australia since the Steve Smith wicket.

That's ODI fifty number nine for Labuschagne to go with a pair of hundreds.

We have another delay for an impromptu drinks break. It is hot out there but the official drinks break was only three overs back.

  7. Aus 228-2published at 34 overs

    Labuschagne 47, Warner 95

Marnus Labuschne gets his third boundary of the over with a delicate late cut that beats the fielder at short third man.

Lovely shot and Australia are rollicking along. They're be looking at well north of 350, perhaps even 400, from here.

A great shot from Marnus Labuschagne, he gets that front leg out of the way. There was a fielder, but it goes straight over his head.

  9. 6 runs

    Aus 223-2published at 33.2 overs

Slog sweep from Marnus Labuschagne and he nails it over deep mid-wicket for six!

There was a fielder out there but the ball sailed well over his head.

Four next ball. This one is darted in by Roelof van der Merwe but angling down leg and Labuschagne tickles it fine.

Scott Edwards like that one but De Leede does not.

  11. Aus 213-2published at 33 overs

Another expensive over from Bas de Leede, which feels a little harsh on the bowler.

He hits Marnus Labuschagne on the pad again late in the over as well but again there is bat on it and, this time, Scott Edwards doesn't review.

  12. Not outpublished at 32.3 overs

    Aus 212-2

Big edge from Marnus Labuschagne and we're not going to find out if it also flicked the pad as well.

It doesn't matter. Not out and that a review lost for the Netherlands.

Scott Edwards wants to refer this.

  14. Netherlands reviewpublished at 32.3 overs

    Aus 212-2

Bas de Leede squares up Marnus Labuschagne and the ball flies down to deep third for four.

But Scott Edwards think it came off the pad and sends it upstairs. This feels hopeful.

That was just too full and too wide and the form that David Warner is in, he's never missing that.

  16. Aus 207-2published at 32.1 overs

Full, wide and slapped through the covers for four by David Warner. He's up to 94 now.

Not the start Bas de Leede wanted to his over after a very expensive first two.

I don't know why it has taken Netherlands so long to bring Roelof van der Merwe back into the attack. Do they think getting him in now will see him bowl up towards the death?

  18. Aus 203-2published at 32 overs

Roelof van der Merwe comes back for the first over after drinks and it's a tidy set.

Just three singles and a wide as the ball skids down leg from it as Australia go past 200.

  20. drinks break

    Aus 199-2published at 31 overs

Anyway, there is a cricket match in progress and Australia are going rather well.

Banged in short by Paul van Meekeren and Marnus Labuschagne swivels on it, pulling into the gap behind square for four.

A couple of dot balls follow and it's time for drinks. I think they tend to go for energy drinks, supplement mix-type things these days rather than a brew, though.
