I think when you look down the Australia order, they have good platforms and when you get to the 30th over, you can mix around the batting order a bit, although it didn't work with Glenn Maxwell coming in at three against Pakistan.

Shot. David Warner is on for a big 'un here I reckon.

He gets down early and slog-sweeps Warner over the mid-wicket boundary. Superb striking.

Roelof van der Merwe doesn't like conceding runs. He has a little grunt as Warner takes a single.

It was the off-cutter, it just didn't grip into the surface. With the pace taken off it, Steve Smith was on it like a flash. Bas de Leede would have been disappointed with that.

  4. Aus 131-1published at 21 overs

Bas de Leede is going to be pretty important for the Netherlands and their hopes of restricting Australia.

Steve Smith tucks away a leg-side delivery and the partnership between him and Warner is now worth 103.

    Instant hot water taps, Dylan.

Most offices have those now, surely?

Re Jonathan and the boiling water tap.. how does making a brew take less than a minute.. you're not one of *THOSE* tea drinkers are you..?

    Thanks Stephan.

Going to start strong, I've worked here for seven-and-a-half years and I think I can count the amount of brews I've made on one hand.

Don't drink em, don't make em - that's my motto.

I'll happily fill up your water bottle though.

That's a good start from RVDM. Five from it, no boundaries. Bas de Leede is coming on, too. Speaking of changes, here's Callum Matthews. He never, ever makes a brew.

Ominous. A half-century from 52 balls for Steve Smith. The only thing that has been dodgy is his running. He's nearly done for himself and Warner.

Feel like I’m getting outed with this brew talk. I only ever realise I need a brew when someone else is offering and get called out for never making them.

Finally, we get a bit of Roelof van der Merwe, a bit late for my liking. A superb competitor. He's just signed a new contract with Somerset, two years to take him to the brink of his 41st birthday.

Are Australia going to do a South Africa here and get 144 runs in their last 10 overs?

Those taps are a death trap. Flecks of boiling water flying everywhere. They are just a notch down from those conveyor-belt toasters you get in hotels. The amount of times you see small fires started by someone sticking a croissant in there. Seriously, what is wrong with a normal toaster?

Our office installed a boiling water tap, and it was revolutionary. Now everyone just makes one for themselves when they want one, cos it takes less than a minute. No simmering resentment.

    Jonathan.

That's one over too many for Singh, who concedes 16 from his fourth. I'm now starting to question why the Dutch haven't used BDL or RVDM yet.

Using the live update chat feed to settle personal scores over brews in the office is petty and probably a misuse of office equipment and I am absolutely here for it.

  17. 50 runs

50 for David Warnerpublished at 17.2 overs

    Aus 109-1

From being quiet, David Warner has exploded into life and goes to a half-century from 41 balls. He gets there with his best shot of the lot, a dreamy straight drive for four. Real danger for the Dutch.

  18. 6 runs

    Aus 105-1published at 17.1 overs

Davey is up and running. Six more, over long-on off Singh.

  19. 6 runs

Whether or not he's angry about having to run so far, Warmer take it out on a short ball from Ackermann, pulling for the first six of the day.

  20. Aus 90-1published at 16.1 overs

Mix-up! I'm not sure I've seen anything like this before. David Warner has pretty much run two, but got nothing. Worked into the leg side, Warner sets off but Smith doesn't move. Warner almost gets all the way before turning back., but still beats Max O'Dowd's throw.
