England will still qualify, keep the faith! I'd just love to see a tight, exciting game in this World Cup!

If you can face it during the break, take a look at some Australians scoring runs. We might have to get used to it for the rest of the day.

I never make the brews in the office but don't ever consume one. I offer a water run. How does this sit?

Appropriately enough, the players are taking drinks in Delhi. The prospect of drinking a hot Vimto instead of tea or coffee has just been raised. It sounds awful.

Brews in the office.. I don’t drink either tea or coffee, only cold drinks for me. I therefore don’t have to make anyone a brew and they don’t need to make me one. Everyone is happy!

A brew has finally arrived, though the substitute brew maker took so long I was concerned he'd gone to pick the tea leaves. For a part-timer, Vikram Singh has done a good job. The fact he has bowled before De Leede and Van der Merwe points to some more detailed Dutch planning, which has been excellent throughout. The way they executed their defeat of South Africa was a masterclass.

People seem to forget Australia have already played the two strongest teams in India and SA. Also not sure which of the Pakistan performances this far inspire hope of top four (re: John).

Not just providing cricket commentary, but also an education. Public service broadcasting. Colin Ackermann comes back to bowl his off-breaks. Still no Roelof van der Merwe, who is one of my favourite cricketers in the tournament.

A ‘Jack Brew’ originated from the Navy if anyone is interested at all and their ability to make a wet for themselves.

While Smith has scored almost exclusively on the leg side, Warner has gone through point until this clip off the pads for four. The score predictor is at 350, even at this early stage. I think it could be a lot more than that.

I've been on my placement for 3 months and there's a guy in the office who only ever offers brews when everyone already has one or has just finished one. He is called out each time but the behaviour continues.

What's with all the negativity? If Australia lose to New Zealand (which is definitely possible), England have a much better chance of making the semi-finals

Steve Smith looks in a Smithian mood. In fairness, the Dutch have bowled poorly to him, feeding the pads. Van Meekeren allows another pull, which beats the dive of the deep square leg and goes for four. Smith has 42 and has scored only five of them on the leg side.

Making a jack brew is a cardinal British sin Alex, the only penitence is getting a round of drinks in at the pub.

As ever, there is a noisy contingent of Dutch fans in the crowd. Orange shirts, lots of enthusiasm. This is their one bit of excitement so far, the wicket of Mitch Marsh.

The Dutch have definitely pivoted away from the spin plan. Vikram Singh, who opens the batting, is sending down his medium pace for his first trundle in three games. Bas de Leede is the other pace option in the side after this.

It seems to me that after their performances so far, if England DID qualify it would be very much ‘by the back door’ and frankly in doing so they’d be robbing a place from one of the other teams who’ve entertained more.
