    Latham c Hazlewood b Zampa 21 (NZ 222-4)

Well, I said they weren't out of this... New Zealand might have one foot out of the door now.

Tom Latham attempts a reverse sweep to Zampa and can only top edge it - the ball spoons comfortably to Josh Hazlewood, hovering at backward point on the edge of the fielding ring.

A gritty knock from Dutch skipper Scott Edwards has given the Netherlands a launch pad against Bangladesh in Kolkata.

Edwards has just brought up his second half-century of the World Cup with a pull off Shoriful Islam.

Just three boundaries in his innings of 51 off 78 balls

Into the final 10 overs at Eden Gardens - time for the Oranje to go through the gears.

  3. NZ 221-3published at 31 overs

Tom Latham finishes the over with a confident push back down the ground, the ball easing away for four.

13 from the over, New Zealand aren't out of this by any stretch of the imagination.

If Rachin Ravinda can keep finding the boundary then Tom Latham can play his natural game at the other end.

  5. 6 runs

    NZ 214-3published at 30.1 overs

Well hello to you too, Rachin!

A fantastic, clean pull off the bowling of Mitchell Marsh, it clears the ropes.

Thanks Jonty - I deliberately haven't refilled, so as long as I don't pass out from dehydration I think we'll be OK.

  7. NZ 203-3published at 30 overs

    Target 389

Pretty loose bowling from Mitchell Starc in that over, where New Zealand score 10 runs from it.

With 20 overs to go, both sides are very much still in it. To take you to the close, I will hand you back to Mike Peter, providing he doesn't spill any more water on his laptop.

Daryl Mitchell was playing some expansive shots, but here is how he fell to Zampa on 54.

  9. NZ 203-3published at 29.2 overs

    Target 389

More gold from Ravindra here to take New Zealand past 200.

He just stands up to Starc's delivery and plants that back over mid-on for a one-bounce four.

    Shot.

Hitting a six to bring up your half-century?

    Lovely stuff from Rachin Ravindra.

  11. NZ 198-3published at 29 overs

    Target 389

Double figures for runs from New Zealand off that over, with 11 scored.

Ravindra and Latham are starting to take the game to Australia a bit more, encouraging signs.

  12. NZ 196-3published at 28.3 overs

    Target 389

Four more. Ravindra this time and it is really well-played. Ravindra played it let, but found the gap brilliantly.

Off the back foot and planted to the rope past the fielder at short third.

  13. NZ 191-3published at 28.1 overs

    Target 389

    That shot certainly helps!

Latham sweeps hard off the delivery from Maxwell, played fine and picking up four runs.

You would back New Zealand to chase this if they are half way through the total after 30 overs.

  15. NZ 187-3published at 28 overs

    Target 389

A more expensive over there from Mitchell Starc, inspired by Ravindra's first ball six, with 10 coming off it in total.

New Zealand need 202 to win off 22 overs. A tough ask, but not impossible.

  16. Patient Edwards frustrates Bangladeshpublished at 35 overs

    Netherlands 139-5

Bangladesh might have banked on blowing the Netherlands away but Scott Edwards has proved difficult to dislodge.

Edwards is plugging away with the bat hoping to get the Netherlands into a position to strike towards something in the region of 240 or 250.

The Dutch skipper has a patient 39 off 62 balls while Sybrand Engelbrecht is unbeaten on 20.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, were brought some chunks fruit on cocktail sticks at the drinks break.

Ravindra's been prolific in this tournament, he's been quite the find.

  18. 50 runs

50 for Ravindrapublished at 27.1 overs

    Target 389

A beautiful shot to pass a half-century, with Ravindra taking Starc's first ball over the rope for six!

He is just past 50 so far, but New Zealand need that to be at least doubled to stand a realistic chance here.

  19. NZ 177-3published at 27 overs

    Target 389

Two runs from the over in total there.

It is also two wasted reviews for Australia, they have none left in the tank.
