Maxwell's delivery has struck the pads of Latham. A bit of uncertainty and Australia take it upstairs.
It looks like impact may have been outside the line.

Surely Steve Smith would be Draco Malfoy with Warner & Bancroft being his Crabbe & Goyle? Also, I reckon Adam Zampa would be Luna Lovegood with all of his different superstitions / mannerisms

Target 389
Another tick as far as Australia are concerned, with Adam Zampa's over seeing just four singles being scored off it.
Ravindra currently sits on 44, but barring those back-to-back fours a couple of overs ago, we've hardly seen much from him in terms of big shots being played and well-executed.

You're always looking at the scoreboard, you need to be calculating where you need to be, pick your targets. You don't get as much information at Indian grounds.
Target 389
Australia return to double spin, with a tidy over from Glenn Maxwell resulting in just three runs coming off it.
New Zealand's wicket-keeper and stand-in captain Tom Latham has a big task on his shoulders to try and show some early confidence here alongside Ravindra.

Huge breakthrough for Australia, Mitchell Starc takes his third catch. Mitchell just trying to launch Zampa down the ground like in the previous over, catching the inside edge, it was a ball that didn't turn and he holed out to long on.
Mitchell c Starc b Zampa 54 (NZ 168-3) Target 389
Zampa strikes!
Mitchell goes to follow on from Ravindra's intent but fails to avoid picking out Mitchell Starc at long on, who takes his third catch of the innings.
This was feeling like it had the potential to be a big partnership, a big scalp for Australia.

Very good batting, smart batting. He knows he just has to beat Starc who's on the edge of the inner ring. Ravindra's putting pressure on Zampa.
Target 389
Back-to-back fours from Ravindra off Zampa!
The first sees Ravindra just charge down the ground and flick that over long-off towards the boundary rope.
Ravindra targets his opposition spinner again, a bit of a slice in the second attempt but he again finds four.

You just sense there's a little something building with this Australian team.
Target 389
Like Starc's over before Marsh's introduction, Marsh's first over is worked around for five, but without too much danger.
Another over that works in Australia's favour in terms of edging the required run rate further away from New Zealand's grasp.
Daryl Mitchell has played some absolutely beautiful shots.
Target 389
Five come from that over. Daryl Mitchell there batting against Mitchell Starc, the rare instance where the batter's surname is the same as the bowler's first name.
I'm sure there has been other times where that has happened, but it cannot be all that common.
Daryl Mitchell will get this again now, with Mitchell Marsh coming in for a bowl.

Not the easiest shot with the angle of Mitchell Starc from around the wicket. It wasn't a half volley, but he absolutely launched it - all along the carpet.
Target 389
A glorious cover drive from Daryl Mitchell to pass 50.
He's just thrashed his hands through it and the ball has been driven off the bat in between cover and mid-off.
Both openers fell earlier than New Zealand would have liked, but with Mitchell and Ravindra out in the middle, there is always a chance.
After 20 overs New Zealand are, as we suspected, well behind the run chase.

Pat Cummins couldn't get his balance there, throwing across his body.
Target 389
Potentially some fortune off the final ball of the over. Daryl Mitchell survives.
Had Pat Cummins' throw in towards Adam Zampa hit the stumps, that could well have been out, with Mitchell just shy of 50.
Netherlands 117-5
A tremendous bit of theatre, kidology and gamesmanship from Bas de Leede before he is out for 17 a few moments ago.
De Leede nicks Taskin Ahmed into the gloves of Mushfiqur Rahim. He knows he's hit it, but stands at the crease, stifling a smirk, and fiddles with his gloves.
It's given not out on the field despite multiple appeals from several Bangladesh players who rush in wildly waving their arms.
Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan reviews it, but as soon as he gives the signal to do so De Leede immediately walks off the field.
