I think Aatif Nawaz picked England to win the World Cup before a ball was bowled. I'm sure if you look back at our pre-World Cup predictions, some of us would look a bit silly.

Its like watching a slow death by a thousand cuts! RIP England's ODI team, along with the surrender of the title. Woeful...

Don't worry, this will be forgotten when we are world champions at The Hundred. That's if any other country is interested in playing it? What? No one?

Another heavy defeat here for England. Perfect Yorker, Wood is out first ball. England have lost by exactly 100 runs. From 30-0, they've been bowled out for 129.
Now the lights are switched off, we've got a light show lighting up the Lucknow night sky. It's a great scene and if you are an England supporter, you've just got to put up with the fact they have been outplayed. It is another really, really woeful performance.
The fireworks are going off in Lucknow.
India have blown England away.
Wood b Bumrah 0 (Eng 129 all out)
Mark Wood bowled first ball by a Jasprit Bumrah yorker.
A delivery that was full and quick from the India seamer is fired right in at the base of Wood's stumps and he cannot jam the bat down in time.
Apart from the occasional loose delivery it's been an exhibition in seam bowling from Bumrah.
Curtains for England.
David Willey goes deep in his crease and hooks Jasprit Bumrah for six over fine leg. He timed that perfectly
Still no emotion on the face of Willey. He's still sore from the contract situation, perhaps.

England have had two ducks in this innings, then six batters have gone out for between 10 and 16.
Rashid b Shami 13 (Eng 122-9)
Stumps splattered!
A couple of nice shots from Adil Rashid before he is bowled through the gate by the skilfull Mohammed Shami.
Rashid looked to work it off his legs but ended up playing all round it.

That's a nice shot from Rashid, 10 from the over now.
There's actually quite a lot at stake in those games, too, Daniel.
The top eight in this World Cup will automatically qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy. England will remain rock bottom if, as expected, they slide to defeat here.
A couple of nice shots from Adil Rashid. He flicks Mohammed Shami's second delivery off his legs for four, then thrashes the India seamer's penultimate ball through the covers.

What is cruel is that England can’t just be knocked out of the tournament and go home. Still have to play Australia, Pakistan and Netherlands. Struggling to see how they can win any of those games on current form.

That was like a snooker shot, it just loops off the bottom of the bat.
Adil Rashid wildly flashes at a delivery from Jasprit Bumrah - an attempted hook - and toe ends the ball in the region of point, but Shubman Gill is unable to make up enough ground to get his hand on it.

A bit of a loosener from Bumrah and Willey hits it for six. He hits it hard and high. It's not every day Jasprit Bumrah gets treated like that.
Jasprit Bumrah drops a rather unthreatening delivery in short and David Willey goes back on his wheels and heaves it into the stands.
Huge six.
Adil Rashid liked that. Huge grin. Willey is stone faced.

England have bowled very well, bowled excellently. It's not a flat pitch, it's not a 300+, it is a 250. It's surely a game where you just switch into professional made and bat the overs. It may sound a bit Jurassic Park but sometimes, it is needed.
The ebullient Kuldeep Yadav has a real zest for bowling.
He attacks outside of the off stump but neither David Willey nor Adil Rashid are willing to bite on his left-arm wrist spin.
A single apiece.

Ollie Davies: It's painful to watch this. England just don't look like a team that know how to play 50-over cricket. A stark contrast from 2019 where roles were so clearly defined. Still a chance here if they just play normal cricket.
Nunya Bisnis: This England side's cooked, they seriously have lost it mind and body shot to pieces. Matthew Mott has to go after the World Cup, plus I feel Jos Buttler needs to relinquish the captaincy.
Piemontemio: Our finisher is asked to captain as well as keep wicket, we have a retired all-rounder keeping a bowler and a batter out of the side and all the coaches are wandering about saying they don't know why things aren't working.
Target 230
Ravindra Jadeja, hair tied back, is tempting the hirsute Adil Rashid with his left-arm spin from round wicket.
The England batter is stout in his defence before pinching the strike off the final ball of the over with a nudge to leg.
