Shreyas Iyer has played everything on its merits today. When it's been on his legs he's flicked it, and just worked it round. He is eyeing up a hundred now.

After being denied a boundary by the stumps at the non-striker's end, Shreyas Iyer changes tack and whips a slower ball from Logan van Beek past short fine leg for four.

Shreyas is up to 86. It might not be the one the fans really wanted but they might yet see an India batter make a century today.

What has impressed me most about India at this World Cup is that when someone else has failed another batter has stepped up.

India's players look very relaxed in the dugout. They are just having a bit of a laugh and a giggle.

That boundary brought up the hundred partnership between Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul, as well as the 300 for India.

With eight overs to go, there is plenty of time to add plenty to both of those tallies.

The fielder in the deep momentarily thinks he is in the game but, despite the dive, can't quite get to it. One bounce for four.

The back end of an ODI, especially in India's position only three wickets down, you want to be looking at going at 10 runs an over. Suryakumar Yadav will be thinking of this as a perfect situation for him to whack a quick score of 50 or 60.

India keep it simple for the second half of that over.

Incidentally, that's how I feel about a good pizza. Keep it simple. Don't overload it with toppings, you'll only come to regret it later.
