KL Rahul gets bowlers excited because he cuts the ball off the stumps, but he actually plays the shot very well.

I think if the Dutch can restrict India to something in the region of 350, especially after the start, they will be able to hold their heads up high.
Oh, unlucky.
Edged for four by KL Rahul, perfectly in the gap between keeper and slip. It went very quickly so would have been a tough chance for slip but a definite missed chance.
Shreyas 64, KL Rahul 29
Lovely! KL Rahul shuffles across his stumps to work a short-ish delivery through mid-wicket for four.
It's bubbling at the moment, the crowd with a steady hum as everyone is preparing for an explosive finish.
Frustration for Roelof van der Merwe. His first four balls go for just one run before KL Rahul eases all the pressure with a sweep for four, riskily exposing his stumps but nailing it to perfection.
Still, Netherlands will be happy with six from the over at this stage.

The scoring rate is just a touch under seven an over. You would expect India to speed up in the last 10 overs. They may yet get to 400.
Time to go big.
Shreyas Iyer skips down the pitch to Bas de Leede, frees his arms and lofts it beautifully over cover for four.
That brings up yet another fifty partnership, coming from 47 balls.
As wickets go, this was a pretty big scalp for Roelof van der Merwe.
Four more! The runs are flowing nicely now as KL Rahul produces a deft touch to deep third, teasing the fielder the whole way before trickling over the ropes.

Shreyas Iyer is probably the best player of spin in this batting line-up. The reason for this is, unlike most of India's other players these days, he has played quite a lot of domestic cricket for Mumbai. He should be in India's Test team for the series against England next year because you know those pitches will turn from day one.
Ind 235-3
Shreyas Iyer becomes the fourth India batter to pass fifty in the innings, reaching the milestone rather quickly as he punishes Bas de Leede for two boundaries in an over.
The second is driven elegantly through the covers and that is the loudest the crowd has been since Kohli's departure.

The Netherlands are keeping this India batting line up relatively quiet at the moment. India are playing relatively conservatively now because they have quite a long tail so there's a lot depending on their top six.

In this World Cup, India are averaging 55 per batter with the bat and the Dutch are averaging 19. Unfortunately the Netherlands are not winning many games with that average. They've managed a few scalps but I think they'd be disappointed with a few games where they had got into themselves into them but not really fired.
A tidy over from Colin Ackermann, just five singles ticked from it as Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul just get themselves set for a big finish with 10 overs to go.
There was some discussion around 500 being scored today but that looks rather unlikely now.
Away from the roast dinner chat, here's Virat Kohli batting very well. Again.
I'm not saying that the innings has stalled, but amongst us we are discussing our roast dinner must-haves.
Currently debating red cabbage, of which I am a fan, and parsnips, of which I am not.
Live-text regular Callum Matthews will have "the occasional carrot" but no other veg in sight.
What a thrilling Sunday this is.
Short, and absolutely nailed for four by Shreyas Iyer.
Ever the optimist, Roelof van der Merwe grimaces, hands on head, as if it was really close to being caught at mid-wicket.
It wasn't. It sailed over the fielder's head even when he was leaping full-stretch.

Bas de Leede has been a little bit too leg side in this spell.
India are just the most intimidating team, aren't they? Virat Kohli departs, cue a bit of disappointment, but KL Rahul comes in and effortlessly whacks his third ball for four.
