Between overs there's a sip of a orange drink and change of gloves for Virat Kohli, followed by a brief chinwag with Mitchell Santner.
It is deft from Kohli to a short ball from Trent Boult in the next over as he watches the ball right under his nose and guides it off the face through third for another four.
Skilful batting.

It's an outrageous shot from Virat Kohli.

That is the most magnificent flick over wide long-on for six. He has got hold of that to perfection.
It's up there with the best shot I've seen at this World Cup.
The traffic is bustling down Marine Drive in Mumbai. You can guarantee those in taxis and auto rickshaws will be tuned in to this on their mobile phones, or on the radio.
It's easy listening at the moment as Virat Kohli advances again, this time playing a flamboyant whip off his pads high into the stands over cow corner.
However, don't let the destination of the ball influence how you envision the shot. It's beautiful.

Lovely shot from Virat Kohli. For a moment, I thought Kane Williamson might be in business but Kohli got more than enough on it to clear him.
Right out of the screws.

After hitting that boundary, I'm pretty sure Virat Kohli was just telling the DJ to quieten down because he was ready to go again.
Vintage Virat.
Kohli shuffles down the pitch and powerfully pings Trent Boult through the covers, on the up, for four. Power and grace from the India batter.
Kohli then stands at the crease, spins the bat in his hands, puffs his chest out in a 'bring it on' type of alpha stance.
However, he's unable to capitalise on a couple of short balls from Boult.

Can Virat Kohli hit is 50th ODI century today, and pull clear of his hero Sachin Tendulkar? The roof will come off at the Wankhede Stadium if he does.
Lockie Ferguson with a tight over, nibbling it around a fourth stump line hoping to induce a false stroke. Three singles acquired.

Prateek Agrwall: All batsmen have been found struggling with cramps during this World Cup but nope, no such struggle for Virat Kohil having crossed 600 plus runs!

This is Virat Kohli's eighth 50 of this World Cup.
The crowd get feverish with excitement in anticipation of Virat Kohli's half-century.
He brings it up with a push down to long on for a single.
A calm raise of the bat in the direction of his wife Anushka Sharma, who is applauding in the stands.

He's hit this a long, long way! It was in the air for a very long time.
Back-to-back boundaries for Shreyas Iyer off Rachin Ravindra.
The first is a huge biff over the sightscreen down the ground. He then picks up four, rather fortuitously, with a slice behind point.

New Zealand will be chasing plenty that's for sure. The problem is they're facing the best batting side in the tournament.
Will we see Shubman Gill again? Possibly. He will not want to put himself out of contention for the final, mind...
Virat Kohli works a single off the first ball of Rachin Ravindra's over. He is closing in on a half century.

This is certainly the slowest pitch that we have seen in Mumbai.

This is Kohli's highest score in a World Cup knockout stage.
Kane Williamson persists with Lockie Ferguson.
Virat Kohli, who has been spritely between the wickets, picks up a couple with a flick off his legs for two. He evades a rasping bouncer from Ferguson a couple of balls later before pinching the strike off the last ball of the over.
Kohli has 48 off 57 balls.
