The love of cricket here is so infectious. It's the number one thing on the agenda for everybody in India.
India win by 70 runs in Mumbai to reach final
New Zealand bowled out for 327 - Mitchell hits superb 134; Shami takes brilliant 7-57
India post 397-4 in Mumbai - highest score in a men's World Cup knockout game
Kohli hits 117 - a record 50th ODI century, taking him past Tendulkar
Shreyas smacks 105 off 70, Gill makes 80* off 66
India will face either Australia or South Africa in Sunday's final

Would be great to see a green wicket and doing a bit for the bowlers.

India are not panicking. They are all in great form, the top five in particular are in great shape.
As you can see, Shubman Gill was striking the ball cleanly before he rather gingerly exited stage left.
Rachin Ravindra is the latest spin option turned to by Kane Williamson, but Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer seem relatively unruffled on this flat pitch.

Gill's retirement is not good news. You know in yourself when something's wrong and you've pulled a muscle.

A rather pensive look from Kane Williamson as Virat Kohli takes a nice easy boundary.
Lockie Ferguson, with his penchant for black bowling boots and sporting a drooping brigadier moustache, is into the attack. Prompted, perhaps, by the retirement of Shubman Gill a bit of pace on the ball is the order of the day for Kane Williamson.
Shreyas Iyer gets a short one from Ferguson and rather unconvincingly pulls it round the corner for a single. New Zealand will looks to test him with that delivery.
A couple of balls later Virat Kohli is able to get a little flick on a bouncer from Ferguson and picks up a four through fine leg.

There are only a couple of days until the final if they do get there. And Shubman Gill will want to be fit.
Shreyas Iyer comes out to bat, and he gets off the mark with a poke down the ground off Mitchell Santner for a single.

Gill is being greeted by the medical staff. That will be a real blow for India.
We have a break in play because Shubman Gill is limping. It looked like cramp initially, but he is in fact retiring hurt.
He appears to have a groin injury.
This is a blow for India.

He was never going to turn down that opportunity, it runs away for four.

That six from Shubman Gill kind of reminded me of Virat Kohli's six off Harris Rauf in last T20 World Cup. You might know that it has been declared as six of the century by ICC.

A little short from Mitchell Santner with his third ball of the over, and Virat Kohli's eyes light up.
There's not much bounce but the India batter is able to watch it right on to the bat, and whips it powerfully along the carpet to the boundary for four.
Here's a six from Shubman Gill off Santner from a few moments ago.

I've found the one group of New Zealand fans in the ground. They're up above the press box in the top tier in their beige shirts and caps.

Kohli will want to get a big total here as well. He is in total control as usual.

New Zealand have got to find a way of breaking this partnership.
Virat Kohli has a sweatband on each of his bulging forearms. The Wankhede is a sizzling sweatbox today.
Glenn Phillips exchanges a few friendly words with Kohli at the end of the over. More singles as Kohli and Shubman Gill prod, nudge and nurdle it into the gaps.

This looks a really good wicket. I am sat here thinking, 'Wow!' The outfield is as quick as anything.
