A two! The crowd cannot contain its excitement as India run a two.
The highlight so far? This, from Travis Head. Special.
Yeah, it's been effective but it's not giving me too much to talk about, I'll be honest.

The genius of the way Rohit starts is it takes the pressure off this rebuilding phase. The run rate is fine so Kohli and Rahul can just hang around until it gets easier.

Oh, this could be fun. Here's Travis Head, whose somewhat ropey part-time spin changed the game against South Africa three days ago.

Australia's decision at the toss is almost being justified. They wanted to quieten the crowd and bring this sense of pressure and it is tense out there now after that electric start.
But India are happy to play sensibly for a bit. The flying start has allowed them to play that way.

It is fascinating how quickly things can change. Australia were constantly retrieving the ball from the boundary in the powerplay, India were flying. We now haven't had a boundary for 10 overs.
Cheers, Sam.
Josh Hazlewood makes his way through another boundary of four singles.
Any danger of a boundary? We haven't had once for 11 overs.
Virat Kohli has to stick up a glove to divert a throw in from Glenn Maxwell.
The pair come together and jokingly square up to each other before laughing it off. They know each other well from playing for RCB together in the IPL.
Anyway, with this game very nicely poised, It is time for me to hand over to Ffion Wynne.

Virat Kohli now has 750 runs in this World Cup. The previous best for runs in in one World Cup campaign was Scahin Tendulkar's 673 in 2003.

Bringing Mitchell Marsh on and having the keeper up to the stumps might just be a way of putting a bit of pressure on to make the batters feel more trapped in the crease.
Another bowling change, Mitch Marsh is on as Australia try to break this partnership which is beginning develop nicely for India.
The scoring rate isn't much to write home about but both Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are now looking very comfortable at the crease.

Probably Ricardo: It’s an odd feeling wanting the Aussies to win.

It is quite ominous for Australia. Once Virat Kohli is in, he is very very hard to get out. He rarely makes mistakes.
Josh Hazlewood is back on and it's singles all the way in that over.
The Australia seamer did try a couple of short balls but they were comfortably dealt with so he soon returned to his usual probing length and line just outside off.

I think 240 will be sufficient against this Aussie team. The pressure of being in a final and against this Indian bowling attack will be too much.

The pitch is drier than I expected it to be, more abrasive than usual. So I expected India to pick Ravichandran Ashwin, based on that.
He had a long bowl yesterday, but they have stuck with their tried and tested line-up.
Another over goes by without a boundary, it's up to eight now.
Australia have been able to sneak Glenn Maxwell back in for a cheap over after he went for 21 from his first two - the wicket of Rohit Sharma more than made up for that, though.

I just walked along the waterfront in Cairns, just before the second wicket fell. Empty bars, as the Aussies feared a pasting. We'll be hearing them though if Kohli goes cheaply....
