This is the one peril for India. Their batting is very top-heavy. It has worked for them so far because of the form of Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, so the strategy hasn't been tested yet.

Pat Cummins said he wanted to silence the crowd and he has done just that. It just held its line, and it defeated Shreyas Iyer.
India are in a bit of trouble from nowhere. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer have provided so many of India's runs and that partnership has been broken very quickly.
Shreyas c Inglis b Cummins 4 (Ind 81-3)
Pat Cummins silences the crowd again!
Probing line from the Australia captain, the ball nips back just a fraction and with Shreyas Iyer playing neither forward nor back, the ball flicks the inside edge and goes through to Josh Inglis.
Two quick wickets and Australia's decision to bowl first suddenly looks a whole lot better.

Just over 10 overs into India's innings and there remain long queues near stadium gates. Many have been stuck in traffic for more than an hour and complain of missing out on the aerobatic show from Indian Air Force planes.

It is intriguing. Australia would be happy with two wickets in the powerplay but India would also be very happy with 80 runs on the board.

Australia have been under pressure, the runs have been flowing, but their fielding has remained incredibly disciplined throughout. It has kept them in the game.
Shreyas Iyer is the new batter and is off the mark with a boundary second ball.
It's a superb back-foot drive through the covers. Not a bad way to get up and running.
The end of a productive powerplay for India, albeit they have lost both openers.

Silence.

Phenomenal. It was going over his head, spiralling, after a slice from Rohit Sharma.
Rohit has done his job, but having hit a six and a four, was it necessary to play that shot? It was going so well and that just allows Australia back into the game.

Oh, Travis Head. That is just wonderful.
Rohit c Head b Maxwell 47 (Ind 76-2)
Superb catch - and that is a huge wicket!
Rohit Sharma advances again and wants to clear the ropes.
But he gets a leading edge and the ball spirals into the off side, over the in-field but Travis Head runs back from point and grabs it brilliantly, diving to take it as the ball drops over his shoulder.
Stunned silence around the ground.

It was a gamble bowling Maxwell this early. The first over was quiet but there was a sense that Rohit was just lining him up.
Rohit Sharma is at it again!
He's down the pitch and hammers the ball high over long on for six!
That is followed up with a crunching shot through the covers for four. Pressure on Glenn Maxwell.
Only four teams who have won the toss in previous World Cup finals have gone on to win the trophy - the last time being Australia in 2007.

David Warner has got about 50 runs in credit from the amount of diving saves he has made over the past two games.
A decent start from Pat Cummins but it still requires a good diving stop from David Warner at deep backward point to deny Virat Kohli a boundary.
A rare boundary-free over in this powerplay.

In World Cups, we see Australia so often throwing the first punches. They get on the front foot and throw everything at it. Today, India are giving them a taste of that.

Glenn Maxwell has been used in the powerplay quite a lot. He hasn't been clobbered yet but the way it's started, today could be the day.
A first look at spin today and after a steady start, Glenn Maxwell drops short and is punished.
Easy pickings for Virat Kohli, who thumps the ball through the off side for four.
Josh Hazlewood has headed off the pitch and down the tunnel. Australia will hope there is not a big issue with him.
Either way, it means Pat Cummins will bowl the next over.
