  1. Postpublished at 31 overs

    Vipers 141-5 - target 201

Is Josie Groves starting to 'lose' her action a little bit?

She gives Emily Windsor too much room and is cut away to third man for two successive boundaries.

The next one is half-way down, but Windsor can't beat the fielder at long leg and takes a single.

Freya Kemp drills a low full toss to mid-off and one run gives her the strike for the next over.

  2. Postpublished at 30 overs

    Vipers 130-5 - target 201

Freya Kemp square cuts but has to settle for three as Marie Kelly overhauls the ball just inside the rope.

Kemp's highest score in this year's competition is 47 and the Vipers would be delighted if she can better that today.

Her intention is clear as she slog sweeps Kirstie Gordon for four to end the over. Vipers need another 71 from 18 overs.

  3. Postpublished at 29 overs

    Vipers 121-5 - target 201

Freya Kemp can barely reach the final ball of Josie Groves' fifth over but shovel it away into the covers for a single.

Groves has 3-16 but that one was an oasis of calm after the drama of her two previous overs.

  4. Postpublished at 28 overs

    Blaze 200-8 v Vipers 117-5

Freya Kemp drags Marie Kelly down to long-on for a single.

Kelly drops short and Emily Windsor pulls powerfully and beats the diving fielder at mid-wicket.

That one got what it deserved.

  5. Postpublished at 27 overs

    Vipers 110-5 - target 201

Josie Groves now bowling to the even younger Freya Kemp.

She's a left-hander - will that throw the leg-spinner out of her stride?

Kemp is off the mark with a single to deep point, but Emily Windsor cannot add any more from the final two balls of the over.

Vipers need 91 to win from 21 overs. But they're going to need another substantial partnership to do it.

  6. wicket

WICKET Dean b Groves 7published at 26.2 overs

    Vipers 109-5 - target 201

A slip in place for 'golden arm' Josie Groves.

Her second ball is a looping delivery and Charlie Dean is effectively yorked as she tries to jam her bat down on it.

In the space of two overs, the teenager has turned this game on its head.

  7. Postpublished at 26 overs

    Vipers 109-4 - target 201

Marie Kelly is listed as 'rm, ob, sla' so it's anyone's guess what she might bowl.

Definitely right arm but Charlie Dean finds the boundary as Vipers try to put their chase back on an even keel.

  8. Postpublished at 25 overs

    Vipers 101-4 - target 201

Almost three in the over for Josie Groves and Charlie Dean lobs the ball back towards her, but she can't quite make up the ground for the catch as she dives forward. Brilliant over, though, for her side.

That is the wicket they so desperately needed to break this partnership.

It's a shame for Georgia because she worked hard for that, but from the point of view of the Blaze, it's a huge breakthrough.

  10. wicket

WICKET Adams b Groves 39published at 24.4 overs

    Vipers 100-4 - target 201

Georgia Adams thinks about coming forward, changes her mind, but the ball hurries onto her and she is gone too.

That's two in four balls for 19-year-old Josie Groves and the game has turned in favour of The Blaze.

Plenty of time left for the Vipers but they have two new batters at the crease in Emily Windsor and Charlie Dean.

  11. wicket

WICKET Elwiss st S Bryce b Groves 50published at 24.1 overs

    Vipers 100-3 - target 201

    Elwiss is gone.

She is beaten by a good one from Josie Groves and Sarah Bryce makes the stumping.

The partnership with Georgia Adams added 96 in 21 overs.

  12. 50 runs

for Georgia Elwisspublished at 24 overs

    Vipers 100-2 - target 201

The match resumes with a full toss which Georgia Adams thumps away for four.

A single gives Georgia Elwiss the strike for the final delivery and she reaches her third half-century of the competition off 68 balls with a push to mid-on for one.

  13. Postpublished at 23.3 overs

    Blaze 200-8 v Vipers 94-2

Georgia Adams drives the first ball of Lucy Higham's over through mid-off for four.

Higham fires one down the leg-side and two Vipers batters manage to turn it into three wides with good running.

There's an injury out there. It's Kirstie Gordon down on the floor and the Blaze physio is summoned.

She is soon on her feet and they take the opportunity for a tactical conflab while the Vipers batters have a drink.

  14. Postpublished at 23 overs

    Vipers 87-2 - target 201

Nearly. Josie Groves fizzes one past the edge of Georgia Adams' bat as she tries to steer it away square.

Georgia Elwiss picks up four with a late dab at the end of the over and is one run away from a half-century.

The Blaze need to break this partnership.

  15. Postpublished at 22 overs

    Vipers 80-2 - target 201

Georgia Adams is showing an inclination to get on with it now.

She carves over point for two runs but the tow Vipers batters can only exchange singles for the remainder of Lucy Higham's fifth over.

Higham has conceded 25 so far, but there's only one boundary in that.

  16. Postpublished at 21 overs

    Vipers 74-2 - target 201

The Blaze introduce leg-spinner Josie Groves.

Georgia Adams pulls her opening delivery but it's only one, well fielded down by the scoreboard.

Two more singles follow but that's a respectable start by the 19-year-old.

  17. Postpublished at 20 overs

    Blaze 200-8 v Vipers 71-2

A new Lucy Higham over and Georgia Adams uses her feet before lofting over mid-on for only the second four of her innings.

Georgia Elwiss pulls the final ball of the over but a good stop by Marie Kelly restricts her to two. Elwiss is 41 not out.

  18. Postpublished at 19 overs

    Vipers 62-2 - target 201

Was that a stumping? No, Georgia Adams' back foot was anchored.

Kirstie Gordon drops short with the next one but Adams can't beat the square leg fielder and moves to 17 not out with one.

  19. Postpublished at 18 overs

    Vipers 60-2 - target 201

Lucy Higham keeps the pressure on for The Blaze - no freebies.

Three singles from the over. Georgia Elwiss keeps the strike for the next and is 37 not out.

I'm pretty impressed by the rebuild.

It's been one full of maturity. Elwiss has been happy to be a little more aggressive.
