India have been the standout team, and by a huge distance. They are steamrollering the other sides. I would like to see how India does in a knockout while being 2 or 3 down with 275+ to chase. I am not convinced.

  2. SA 74-7published at 24 overs

Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen pick up two singles apiece against Kuldeep Yadav as South Africa crawl towards a 100.

I suspect Rohit Sharma might think about bringing back Jasprit Bumrah to wrap this up in the not-too-distant future.

Embarrassing performance from South Africa. Even England put up a better fight and they are hopeless. Just give the trophy now to this truly incredible Indian side.

  4. SA 70-7published at 23 overs

Ravindra Jadeja is getting plenty of turn, as well. His third delivery grips and turns to beat Marco Jansen's outside edge.

    He too bowls a maiden.

There's so much fervour around this India team. Everybody here is getting swept away by it.

  6. SA 70-7published at 22 overs

Virat Kohli is dancing along to the music played over the loudspeakers between overs. He's certainly enjoying his birthday.

Kuldeep Yadav's third ball to Kagiso Rabada is a beauty. It drifts into Rabada then spins away to beat the outside edge.

    A maiden for Kuldeep.

Here's how fellow spinner Ravindra Jadeja picked up his fourth wicket.

  7. SA 70-7published at 21 overs

Ravindra Radeja hits Kagiso Rabada, on the pad and screeches an appeal, but it's turned down.

    He wants that five-wicket haul.

    Thanks, Mike.

Just looked up the definition of juggernaut in the dictionary.

A huge, powerful, and overwhelming force.

That is this India team to a tee.

  9. SA 69-7published at 20 overs

Just the one slip for Kuldeep Yadav, how dull.

Rabada gets a single knocking through a gap in the vicinity - if only they'd had an extra two or three fielders in there?

Over to Timothy Abraham for the conclusion of this match.

  10. SA 68-7published at 19 overs

Kagiso Rabada is the latest to take a trip into the middle. Will it be a long one?

He takes a single with a push to mid-off.

Ravindra Jadeja becomes so difficult to play with the angle into the right hander. The pace he bowls and the turn, he is very tricky. It's been a great performance from India. A complete performance.

Bowled him! He's fired that in. South Africa's innings hasn't really taken off at all.

    A fourth wicket for Jadeja!

Fired in again, bit of turn to take off stump.

The Indian bowler now has figures of 4-27 and there's delirium in the stands.

Jared Maobe: How can a team that bats so well, when batting first, be so poor when batting second. This is humbling for South Africa.

  15. SA 65-6published at 18 overs

Kuldeep Yadav enters the attack and rattles through five dot balls before Maharaj takes a single down the ground to retain the strike.

  16. SA 64-6published at 17 overs

Keshav Maharaj in at number eight - I wonder if this is the earliest he's arrived in ODIs.

He gets four through point with Siraj unable to cut the ball off on the boundary.

Jadeja has two slips in now, he wants this game done.

Ravindra Jadeja has gone under the radar in this tournament. He's done the containing job but has also picked up wickets.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.3 overs

    Miller b Jadeja 11 (SA 59-6)

    Another one down!

Jadeja thinks he has Miller caught down the leg side with his first delivery, but gets nothing back from either the umpire or his captain.

No worries, he gets his man two balls later, Miller misses the paddle shot and his stumps are splayed as a result.

Will South Africa even make a hundred?

Both these batters will try to bat and play their natural game but the target looks a long way off for South Africa.

  20. SA 59-5published at 16 overs

Marco Jansen slips a couple of twos into the point region, working Mohammed Shami away.

India have a silly mid off and on in at the minute. Funky.
