Does he like cricket and what does he think of England's selection of three spinners are the real questions, surely?

Off to meet our youngest twin's boyfriend for the first time. England runs could decide the future of the relationship.

Down in Brisbane, an inexperienced West Indies side continue to fight.

With a careful 28 not out, Alick Athanaze, who you may remember played a couple of decent knocks in the ODIs against England before Christmas, has taken them to 106-3 at the end of the first session on day three of the day-night Test.

That gives the tourists a lead of 128.

Ben Duckett's sweeps kept me from my admin in that session - primarily writing my groom's speech.

    Tips are welcome.

Good things for England, at least.

India only added 15 runs to their overnight score before being dismissed for 436.

The last three wickets fell without a run being scored with Joe Root on a hat-trick at one stage. He finished with 4-79 - his second best Test figures.

Faced with a deficit of 190, England have come out and played the way they do.

Ben Duckett has swept everything in sight to move to 38 while Zak Crawley played nicely before edging Ravichandran Ashwin to slip for 31.

At lunch England are 89-1 from just 15 overs but still 101 runs behind.

    Morning, morning.

    Everyone OK?

England's deficit is almost into double figures and Joe Root isn't even in yet...

And as the players depart for lunch, it's also my cue for a break.

I'll leave you in the hands of Matthew Henry to steer you through a recap of what you've missed, and into the afternoon session.

I'm sure you'll enjoy his company. Bye for now!

That was a really poor session for India. They lost three wickets for no runs and England’s batsmen, led by Duckett, have knocked the spinners off their rhythm.

It’ll be India who have the most to think about during lunch.

Whisper it quietly, but India look a little bereft. Just one catcher for Jadeja to Duckett, with captain Rohit following the ball. Jadeja bowled an awful leg-side delivery, which Duckett paddle-swept. Instead of accepting it was just a bad delivery, Rohit put a man there. For the first time in the match, England have indisputably won a session.

  12. Lunch - 89-1published at 15 overs

Ravi Jadeja gets one over before lunch, and starts by fizzing four byes down the leg side and through the keeper's legs.

Duckett and Pope continue to knock it around for four singles, and England end the first session profitably. Since Crawley's departure, these two have looked completely at ease.

The pitch is quite slow but England are anything but. Positive, not reckless, going at almost six an over against the world's best spin attack.

England trail by 101 at lunch.

  13. Eng 80-1published at 14 overs

A boundary-less Ravichandran Ashwin is negotiated before lunch, but he gets through it pretty quickly so there will be time for one more.

If England can remain one down, I think they'll be delighted.

The pitch is starting to look tricky. One has hit the wicketkeeper on the helmet and the next scuttles along the wicket to Ollie Pope.

This is a stunning innings by Duckett. Really getting into the bowlers’ heads.

  16. Eng 73-1published at 13 overs

Gorgeous shot from Ollie Pope as he guides one through the covers for four, with Axar Patel going a little too full.

Ben Duckett completes the over with four more from an orthodox sweep and England are going along very nicely here.

A couple are staying low, and there is turn, but they are negotiating it well.

Those were a couple of cracking of reverse sweeps from Ben Duckett. He said before the series he would play the shot like a forward defence and he has absolutely nailed these two.

He gets down low. It is a good way to mess up a spinner's line and length.

  18. Eng 67-1published at 12 overs

Ashwin gifts Ben Duckett a full toss on off stump, and he needs no more encouragement to reverse sweep. It flies away for four more.

Duckett is winning the battle between these two so far.

  19. Green & Lyon strike for Australiapublished at 05:47 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Nathan Lyon celebrates wicketImage source, Getty Images

West Indies have lost their third wicket in the day-night Test against Australia.

First Kraigg Brathwaite had caught at cover off Cameron Green for 16 before Kirk McKenzie fell lbw to Nathan Lyon for 41.

They are now 94-3 with a lead of 116. It could be a good game.

  20. Eng 59-1published at 11 overs

Does anyone love anything as much as Ben Duckett loves a reverse sweep?

He slams two of them in the over for four. It's so perfectly timed, it seems there's barely any risk in it for him.
