Wow. For some reason, Bumrah decided to jump up in the air while Foakes still had the ball by the bails.

The England wicketkeeper just cannot get the bails off in time.

Australia might have had something to say if England won like that...

    Another stumping check?

Has Bumrah been a bit dozy?

England seem to be capable of that very rare thing in sport - being able to evolve and learn in the match - they didn't let the situation get to them, they regrouped and came back stronger.

    Mike

I had written England off, pretty much, after day one. Seems I have yet to learn that with McCullum and Stokes in charge, you NEVER write England off. What great leadership to get Hartley to perform like he has and not write him off!

Another swing and a miss from Bumrah. This surely cannot last?

India's batters seemed to have lost their heads.

A flick off the pad gets India four useful leg byes.

    They couldn't, could they?

It has been comedy cricket from these two so far.

    Is this it?

We're checking a stumping but England don't look too interested.

Ashwin played very well but it looked a frustrated dismissal, another nice stumping for Foakes.

With these two at the crease a run out is high probability! But they do entertain.

Siraj is swinging wildly. I don't know how he is surviving.

Got to be one of the best Test matches since Edgbaston 2005!

    Ben

For all the people who said on day one Stokes was showing poor leadership by letting Hartley continue... this is the result of having the belief and backing of your team!

Hartley is grinning. I think he's just taking in this moment as the Barmy Army sings his name.

Ben Stokes has turned to Rehan Ahmed to wrap it up.

    Target 231

Another edge falls safely and Jasprit Bumrah gets two.

49 or one wicket to win.

Tom Hartley gets a huge ovation from the England fans as he returns to his fielding position. 6-53!!

  15. Ind 179-9published at 63.3 overs

Siraj gets a two to begin.

The next ball loops in the air but safe.

Mohammed Siraj, who averages four, is in the middle.

India still need 54. England need ONE wicket.

Ravi Ashwin decides he has to have a swing, charges down and is left stranded when the ball turns.

    Tom Hartley has six!

It sounds like we're going to play the extra half an hour!

Eight overs or half an hour, whatever comes first.

Bumrah successfully defends. There was no way he was doing anything but defend that.

Will this be the last over? We'll have to wait to see what the umpires decide.

  20. Ind 176-8published at 62.5 overs

    Ashwin gets a single.

Joe Root will have one ball at Bumrah.
