Joe Root wants England to take a review as Shreyas Iyer looks to sweep away. Root thinks there is a little feather through to Ben Foakes, but Ben Stokes, who has to run in from the long on, opts against the review.

There's nothing on the technology as the TV coverage shows a replay. Root didn't have the best first Test with recommending reviews and that would have been another poor suggestion.

This may say more about Ffion and I than anything else, but what are flame raisins? They sound terrifying, and not something I'd want to eat at 7am.

It was just a change of ends for Tom Hartley as he replaces James Anderson. He's milked for a couple of singles.

Two weetabix and some flame raisins. Staying on the cross trainer until we get a wicket. I could be 6 stone by the end of this!

Ben Stokes seems pretty intent on rotating his spinners at the other end as Joe Root returns.

He's bowling round the wicket, into the pads of Shreyas Iyer to start. He drops short and the right-hander pummels it away.

Nine off the over, with at least a run off every ball.

What croissant, Charl? Pain au chocolat or a hazelnut chocolate one then good work. Plain, less exciting.

Back to the cricket and James Anderson is bowling beautifully post-lunch. There are oohs and aahs as he sends one past the edge of a defending Yashasvi Jaiswal.

More follow too as Shreyas Iyer backs away and bottom-edges narrowly wide of the stumps. That would have been a gift for England.

Protein shake and a croissant after the gym. Staying on the bike until we get another wicket so would appreciate a bit of speed!

    Hit em! No, wild throw.

Yashasvi Jaiswal sets off for a single at the non-striker's end but is running on the outfield beside the pitch and slips slightly as he is sent back.

Luckily for the opener the throw from the covers is loose and Tom Hartley is unable to gather.

    10:30!?! That's brunch, Jar. Unless you're a student, then that's breakfast.

James Anderson and England seem like they are going to go at Shreyas Iyer with the short stuff for a bit but he's playing it pretty comfortably so far.

Just the one over for Joe Root as Tom Hartley and his left-arm spin is introduced.

The Lancashire man has bowled with good control so far. He's settling more into Test cricket with every over.

Ben Stokes calls for a silly point off the final ball and Shreyas Iyer almost pops one up for Ollie Pope but it goes too quick for the Surrey man to react.

This time last week I rode my bike to work and England lost 4 wickets by the time I arrived. Leaving a bit early this week to take a longer ride. So hopefully India will be all out by the time I get in.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is happy to block and leave the remainder of the Anderson over.

We're approaching a more acceptable time to be eating breakfast now I would say. Let us know what you're having via the usual channels. Pictures via the WhatsApp number are more than welcome too!

    I'm getting Ashes flashbacks.

England have spread the field for Shreyas Iyer and look like they are going to go short-ball theory to the right-hander.

There's a gully, a fine third and then a range of fielders dotted around the leg side.

Shreyas is able to pull for a single, and England revert to two slips for Yashasvi Jaiswal.

It's going to be the pace of James Anderson from the other end.

  17. Ind 105-2published at 32 overs

Hello! A little bit of turn for Joe Root as he gets one to grip and spin past the outside edge of a prodding Yashasvi Jaiswal.

A pair of singles from the over.

The players are back out in Visakhapatnam.

This could be a key session in the game - and series. Can England make more inroads?

Joe Root has the ball in hand in start.

India seem to be receiving a bit of criticism for not attacking, yet they've built a platform England craved for many moons. 103-2 at lunch? That would've been a rare treat! I still put us marginally ahead though. No breakfast yet either.

This isn't the only international cricket going on at the moment.

Over in Melbourne, Australia are facing West Indies in the first of three one-day internationals. Xavier Barlett took three early wickets on debut as the tourists slipped to 59-4 but they have recovered pretty well and are in the last 10 overs of their innings.
