Mohammed Siraj has done something to his knee playing that shot. It might just be that the ball hit him flush on the knee cap.
He calls for the physio at the end of the over.

Yep, there's a spike as ball goes past the bat.
Joel Wilson has to overturn another.

Another Joel Wilson review...
I think Siraj may be right.
Mohammed Siraj is given lbw but he thinks he has hit it...

Paul Collingwood said in his interview last night that we only think about getting wickets and don’t worry about the runs. That’s not been the case today...
Bumrah 18, Siraj 3
Bumrah swings at Mark Wood and comes within a whisker of being bowled when he misses. He then takes a bouncer on before giving some advice to his batting partner Siraj.
Bumrah will be after another promotion before long.

England have been strangely off it today. My worry is that drips into their batting…

This is going to be great test for the Bazballers. If they come out playing all the shots I fear India could have a 150 run first innings lead at least. If they play with a bit of sense they should be able to get a good score.
That may come but Mark Wood is indeed returning to try to end this before Rehan gets another chance.
Phil Tufnell
Former England spinner
Rehan Ahmed, googly, bowled through the gate - I'd have a fiver on it to Bumrah.
All of the shots are coming now as Bumrah drives over extra cover for four.
Frustrating times for England.

India have never made this many in the first innings (ie batting first) of a home Test and lost.
Jasprit Bumrah goes again down the ground, this time for four.
These are handy runs and are stopping England going into their innings with any sort of momentum.
Bumrah 9, Siraj 2
Bosh.
Jasprit Bumrah has had enough of defending and gives Tom Hartley the treatment.
Eight from that over and Rohit Sharma is giggling upstairs now.

Why no fielders around the bat!? Numbers 10 and 11 are batting...
Ben Foakes yelps and groans but Mohammed Siraj survives in defence to Rehan Ahmed.
England must wish Mark Wood wasn't aching having just finished a spell.
Mohammed Siraj averages four in Test cricket, hence how Jasprit Bumrah gets himself up to number 10 despite averaging six.
The last time we saw them in the middle together was the carnage at the end of the first Test as Tom Hartley bowled England to victory.
No such drama yet.

This pitch is going to end up exploding…
Rehan Ahmed may well have been the pick of England's spinners in this innings.
