If England can also bat for 130 overs, that should give them a nice 200-run lead.

Confidence, Adam. I like it.

25 mins before tea? so like 120 runs before tea?
Adam, London
Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett are going to have to do it the hard way.
Jasprit Bumrah has already taken off his cap and grabbed the ball.

England have to bat with a little bit of sense and time. No way they can give the bowlers just 70/80 overs rest. If they come out Bazballing they could hand India a few cheap ones...

This next innings could be the defining one of the series. If England get it right, they are right in there. Get it wrong and...
That wicket means after a quick changeover England will have about 25 minutes to bat before tea.
If you want some optimism, England scored 537 in the first innings the last time they batted on this ground.
India scored 649-9 declared last time here too.
Bumrah lbw b Wood 26 (Ind 445 all out)
Good enough. It would have hit a good chunk of leg stump.
Mark Wood finishes with four wickets but India, from 33-3, have done very well.
I tell you what. It's not as out as I first thought...
This one is out though, surely?!
Jasprit Bumrah plumb in front.
Yep. It was missing leg stump from Mark Wood. On we go.
England are reviewing another lbw.
Optmisitic at best, I fear.
England are struggling to wrap up this India innings.
Like yesterday, the day started well for England when James Anderson quickly removed nightwatchman Kuldeep Yadav and Joe Root had Ravindra Jadeja caught and bowled for 112.
At that stage India were 331-7 with England right in the hunt but debutant wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel and Ravichandran Ashwin halted the tourists' progress with a steady partnership of 77.
Despite two dropped catches, Ashwin and Jurel departed in relatively quick succession, both to Rehan Ahmed, after lunch but now last pair Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are slogging it around.

Siraj has damaged his knee playing that reverse sweep. Why do number 11s think they can do it? I remember Tuffers trying to reverse sweep Warne. Wasn’t pretty at all.
I can tell you from painful experience that a blow from a ball in the knee is agony. Javed Miandad drilled one into my knee as I fielded at mid off. I felt quite sick.
Siraj has taken off his pad and is sat on the outfield as the physio tries to strap up his knee.
Mohammed Siraj, meanwhile, is struggling. He drops his bat and hobbles away after running two.
The physio is coming back.

Call me cocky, but this is in the bag for India and we've deserved it. Bring on the next innings.

Back under way and Jasprit Bumrah flogs a slower ball from Mark Wood to the mid-wicket boundary!

Low bounce. More spin. Ashwin. Problems.
