Right back at the start, I said today was moving day. Things have moved right into the hands of India.

The hosts have dominated today and you can read all about it in Stephan Shemilt's match report.

Scroll down for reaction from the experts.

England have not lost a series under Ben Stokes. That could change tomorrow but they have done special things before.

You're going to have to join us at 03:45 GMT to find out. You never know...

  2. 'On that pitch anything is possible'published at 11:28 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

England bowler Shoaib Bashir on TNT Sports: "It's still pretty surreal. I want to dedicate this to my two late grandads who passed away around a year and a half ago, they loved Test cricket and their wish was for me to play. I'm so grateful.

"My favourite wicket was Jaiswal's. He's in top form and he's an incredible player so to get his wicket was surreal, too.

"I used to watch some of the guys in my dressing room as a little kid. They're brilliant, they give me so much confidence and it's a wonderful group to be a part of that really gets the best out of you.

"We'd have liked one or two wickets in that period at the end but we've got a big job to do tomorrow. On that pitch, anything is possible."

India's record is at home is magnificent, and it's magnificent for a reason.

It shows what a difference a day makes. England were in the box seat this time yesterday but India put their foot down, and played the situation perfectly.

Dhruv Jurel was fantastic this morning to reduce that deficit and then you knew that Ashwin would come good at some stage, he is too good a bowler not to have an impact on the series.

England's batters are taking a pounding on social media and elsewhere.

They desperately needed someone to get in with Zak Crawley but no-one was able to do it on a tricky surface.

They weren't overly aggressive. The wickets weren't thrown away. But they were not good enough to keep India out.

Dhruv Jurel needs a lot of credit too.

India were 177 runs behind when Ravichandran Ashwin was out yesterday but Jurel fought his way to 90 this morning - dragging India to a first-innings deficit of 46 when it had looked being far greater.

He put on 76 with Kuldeep Yadav, 40 with Akash Deep and 14 with Mohammed Siraj - the last three wickets.

England did give him one life - when Ollie Robinson dropped him on 59 in the morning session.

Today we've seen India's spinners causing chaos on a turning pitch and I think that's what a lot of us were worried about before the series.

When England had the opportunity to bowl on the same pitch, they couldn't get the same impact.

To win a Test against this India team in their own conditions, England have to be on it for four whole days. If they are slightly off their best, it will cost them.

They have been very good for two and a half days, but the last few hours they weren't on it and India have burst through the door. England have got a mountain to climb.

  7. 'We showed phenomenal character'published at 11:16 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

India bowler Ravichandran Ashwin on TNT Sports: "I enjoy bowling with the new ball and today was another of those days. I wanted that first over. I seem to have a bit of attachment to the new ball, it allows you to bowl a little quicker, and I enjoyed that.

"I had to change how I was thinking about the game because there wasn't much turn. I am someone who likes the ball to drop on to the pitch and get bite out of the surface but it wasn't like that here. I had to use side spin, hammer it in to the pitch, and it was quite a mental switch that I had to make.

"We showed phenomenal character. Kuldeep was brilliant today. He can put a lot of revs on the ball and he's got a lot of skill but he changed his paces really nicely, he is very difficult to play when he does that and I'm sorry to take the five-for from him!

"Dhruv Jurel's defence was gun and he showed great composure, we were very calm in the dressing room. For just his second Test match, he had a great game plan and it gave us a huge lift.

"I don't have many expectations [for next week's 100th Test], I just love every minute with this team and I'll be happy the longer it lasts."

Ravichandran Ashwin cannot hide his happiness in his interview. He was brilliant today.

He got Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope in consecutive balls earlier and followed that with the wicket of Joe Root.

The wickets of Ben Foakes and James Anderson wrapped up England's innings and gave the spinner five.

He was too good for England.

England may not have held all of the cards at the start of it but they had most of them.

India were still 134 on first innings with only three wickets left.

The hosts ended it needing only 152 more to win the series and they have all of their wickets left to get them.

India have once again found away of having a dominant day that looks likely to win them this Test and the series.

England's bad days are really, really bad - and that looks likely to cost them.

  18. Ind 37-0published at 6 overs

Need 155 more runs to win

It's a better over from Tom Hartley - he finds the playing strip at least - but still England cannot stop the flow of runs.

Ben Stokes may as well bring his field up to stop these singles because the runs are coming anyway.
