    We've already had plenty of cricket action today with a round of County Championship fixtures getting under way this morning.

    England captain Ben Stokes has taken 2-70 for Durham against Lancashire at Blackpool, dismissing England A batter Josh Bohannon and New Zealand international Tom Bruce.

    Joe Root is 62* batting for Yorkshire at Hove, after his side bowled out Sussex for 150.

    Meanwhile Jofra Archer took a wicket in six overs for Sussex second XI as he continues his preparation for England's T20 series against Pakistan, which starts on Wednesday.

    England welcome back Nat Sciver-Brunt to their line-up after she missed the first T20 at Edgbaston. She replaces Freya Kemp in the England side, but will not be bowling.

    The all-rounder, who is married to former England bowler Katherine Sciver-Brunt, has revealed she missed Saturday's match after undergoing an egg freezing treatment.

    "Katherine and myself would love to start a family but I’d also love to keep playing cricket," Sciver-Brunt told the Under The Lid podcast., external

    "We are lucky in that we have more options than one. We’re just working out the best way for us to go about it."

    England gave themselves a scare in Saturday's opening T20, slipping to 11-4 before a fightback from Heather Knight and Amy Jones helped them post 163-6.

    The pair put on a fifth-wicket stand of 67, before Danielle Gibson added 41 not out from 21 balls to close out the innings.

    In reply, Pakistan squandered a positive start with England leg-spinner Sarah Glenn's career-best 4-12 sparking a drastic collapse from 66-2 to 110 all out.

    The sun is shining, much of the country is wrapping up their working week and preparing to wind down for the weekend.

    But in Northampton two sides of international cricketers are getting revved up, as they contest the second T20 of a three match series.

    After enjoying victory in the opening encounter, England will be looking to wrap a series win, while Pakistan will hope to deny their hosts and get themselves back in the contest.
