  1. Red cardpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 1-3 Roscommon 0-3

Ruaidhri Fallon is sent off for a second yellow card offence.

His attempted shoulder on Rory Grugan is deemed to have been a frontal charge.

That is a huge blow for the Rossies, right before half time.

Despite having played so poorly, they had just dragged themselves to within three points of Armagh but now they have to play the remainder of the game with 14 men.

  2. Roscommon not good enoughpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 1-3 Roscommon 0-3

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on GAAGO

Just not good enough at this level in an All-Ireland.

You're just waiting for Armagh to open up and that's twice they've punished really poor turnovers from Roscommon.

  3. Postpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 1-3 Roscommon 0-3

Niall Higgins must have been fed up watching the Roscommon forwards miss chance after chance and takes matters into his own hands.

The cornerback nails a lovely score.

You know the confidence is pumping through Armagh now when Paddy Burns finds himself in a goal-scoring position. He had more time than he thought in trying to fist the ball home, but wait, the umpire has ruled the ball was out of play before it got to him.

Barry McCambridge fists over the bar. The raiding wing-back has scored a goal and a point now.

That all came from Enda Smith's dreadful kick pass which was easily cut out. Roscommon are looking well off the pace here.

Conditions are slippy, you just need to move that ball and keep it out of contact.

Bringing that ball into contact on a wet day here can give anything.

Diarmuid Murtagh misses an easy chance for a point. So does Conor Cox.

Last week against Tyrone, everything the Rossies forwards hit flew over the bar.

It seems they've rocked up to Croke Park and expected the same thing to happen, but are finding Armagh are putting more pressure on the ball than Tyrone could manage.

And their execution and shot selection is really poor so far.

    27 minutes gone.

    Armagh 1-2 Roscommon 0-1

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on GAAGO

You just felt one of these times that Armagh on the transition were going to really punish Roscommon and this was that occasion.

The game needed that. A real bit of attacking endeavour and the finish to match.

Lovely interplay between Barry McCambridge and Rory Grugan. McCambridge - who is adept at spotting space in advanced areas - may not have had the finish earlier, but boy did he deliver there.

    Brilliant goal.

Goalpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 1-2 Roscommon 0-1

    Barry McCambridge hits the net.

Daire Cregg drops the ball short and Armagh punish Roscommon with a quick counter. Rory Grugan passes inside to the in-rushing McCambridge, who drills the ball high into the roof of the net.

It's clearly a move Armagh have worked on, as it's the second time McCambridge has found himself in that position today.

  13. Roscommon lacking energy?published at 16:21 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 0-2 Rosscommon 0-1

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on GAAGO

Roscommon seem to be lacking any form of energy. Whether the three games in a row has finally caught up with them, I'm not too sure?

  14. Postpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 0-2 Roscommon 0-1

Conor Cox hits Roscommon's opener after 17 minutes.

They have missed easier ones into the Hill today, but that was a fine score from an acute angle and with several defenders in hot pursuit.

  15. Roscommon lacking efficiencypublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 0-1 Rosscommon 0-0

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on GAAGO

Roscommon need to be a lot more efficient and try and get that score on the board.

But at the other side, Armagh are not punishing them in any way.

We waited a long time for a second score.

Challenging conditions making for a game of poor quality, it must be said.

Handling is going to be key this afternoon.

As I type that, Conor Turbitt does well to retain possession but shoots wide.

  18. 'A poor miss'published at 16:17 British Summer Time 29 June

    Armagh 0-1 Roscommon 0-0

    Michael Murphy

A poor miss. Donie Smith will be disappointed with that.

Ultan Harney's day is over. He limps off and is replaced by Ciaran Lennon.

Just one point in 13 minutes of play.
