    Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez have crashed into each other!

    Ferrari's Sainz was on the outside of the Red Bull of Perez and as the pair battled for third place, they both ended up in the wall.

    The drivers are OK, with Perez furious with Sainz for his move.

    The gap to Charles Leclerc now is three seconds for Oscar Piastri. The McLaren driver can see the Ferrari driver under pressure from the Red Bull of Sergio Perez.

    The Mexican tries to pass Leclerc but that brings Carlos Sainz into the mix. Leclerc holds position but there's trouble for Perez and Sainz!

    Piastri is managing to break away a little bit now, the gap is up to 1.5 seconds and Piastri is just easing away a touch as long as he doesn't make an error.

    Charles Leclerc has worked those tyres hard in pursuit of Oscar Piastri but now his rear rubber is fading. The Ferrari is now under attack from Sergio Perez, plus team-mate Carlos Sainz, as Oscar Piastri's lead at the front is now two seconds.

    With the pressure that Piastri is under with the cars so close behind him, he's still pushing to the limit.

    That is taking the maximum of concentration, it only takes the tinniest lapse in that concentration from any one of them and this race could be flipped on its head.

    Oscar Piastri called a brush with the wall a 'love tap' yesterday and the Australian kisses the barriers with his rears as he reaches Turn 15 - but no harm done.

    The pack has suddenly come together, with Carlos Sainz now in the scrap too!

    Norris has set another fastest lap of the race, he's now 7.4 seconds behind Verstappen.

    We think he might get right beneath the wing of that Red Bull in the last lap or two, or his tyres might start to drift away.

    There is still life in those McLaren medium tyres, it could get spicy towards the end.

    The Red Bull of Sergio Perez has dropped back now as the fight is firmly between Oscar Piastri and Charles.

    Turn One is complete and the McLaren is in front.

    Turn Two is boxed off and the McLaren is in front.

    More corners are navigated and the McLaren stays in front.

    The route to glory has been closed to Charles Leclerc on what is his fourth attempt at winning this Azerbaijan Grand Prix from pole position.

    This is remarkable stuff! Piastri has taken one victory so far this year, holding onto the lead having made a move onto Leclerc many laps ago.

    Leclerc has been pushing him ever since. Can he take his first every victory and Ferraris first ever win here?

    Franco Colapinto and Ollie Bearman are running just outside the points as we edge towards the end of this Baku grand prix, but Alex Albon is in ninth place in the other Williams.

    Another lap comes and goes and Oscar Piastri is out in front ahead of Charles Leclerc. Sergio Perez is in the final podium place in third.

    I'm looking at the constructors' and drivers' championships, McLaren at the moment as it stands have moved into the lead of the constructors' championship by one point from Red Bull.

    Looking at the drivers' championship, Verstappen increases his lead he will be on 311 points and Norris with 248 points, that's a gap of 64 points, it was 62 coming into this.
