    Leeds 1-0 West Brom

    Aidy White
Former Leeds United full-back on BBC Radio Leeds

We do just need to be cautious, a second goal could be really beneficial.

As we've seen in the play-offs, if Adam Armstrong gets a chance we know he can put them away.

    Leeds 1-0 West Brom

It's been six years since Leeds lost a Championship game after scoring the opening goal.

Uphill battle for Albion just became a mountain to climb.

  3. Postpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Leeds 1-0 West Brom

The Baggies bounce straight back and a deep cross is headed back into the mixer at the back post by Darnell Furlong, it takes a flick off a defender and seems to strike Junior Firpo on the hand before being hacked clear.

Appeals for a penalty but nothing doing.

  4. Postpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Oxford United 0-1 Coventry

Jack Rudoni is a man in form. He has contributed to goals in his last four appearances. He already has a goal today and almost picks up an assist as well.

His corner to the near post needs an emergency poke behind by Tyler Goodrham. His second delivery is into a dangerous area but goalkeeper Jamie Cumming punches clear.

    Junior Firpo (9 mins)

    He's done it again.

After that almighty let-off moments ago, Leeds press forward and Dan James whips in an inviting cross from the left, curling towards Joe Wildsmith's near post, where left-back Junior Firpo ghosts in to glance a header past the keeper into the net.

He's scored three goals this season, most recently against Sheffield United on Monday, and all of them have been big ones against promotion-chasers.

  6. 'A terrific chance'published at 12:40 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

In my books that's a terrific chance.

You know Swift thought that was a great chance when he puts his head in his hands.

  7. CLOSE!published at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

West Brom's first attack, and they should be ahead.

Isaac Price whips a low ball across the Leeds box from the right where John Swift times his run perfectly but sweeps his low right-footed shot inches past Ilan Meslier's post from 15 yards with the keeper left flat-footed.

A wake-up call for the leaders...

  8. CLOSE!published at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Blackburn 0-0 Norwich

    What a chance for Norwich.

Lewis Dobbin cuts the ball back from the right where Anis Ben Slimane is in so much space near the penalty spot but can only pull his first-time shot past Aynsley Pears' right post.

Really should be the opening goal.

  9. goal

    Jack Rudoni (7 mins)

Coventry are bang in form and racing into the play-off places.

No surprise how the goal is scored. Coventry are the heading kings of the Championship and Jack Rudoni flings himself at an inch-perfect cross from the right by Tatsuhiro Sakamoto.

That is their 16th headed goal of the campaign.

Rudoni struggles to celebrate after damaging his arm in scoring the goal.

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

'Champions again, ole, ole, ole' rings around Elland Road as Leeds start on the front foot.

A couple of early balls into the Baggies box go begging, but the visitors haven't got over the halfway line yet.

  11. Postpublished at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Oxford United 0-0 Coventry

Another false start as Przemyslaw Placheta in on the deck after a coming together with Jake Bidwell. The Pole won't need any treatment as he slowly gets back to his feet.

Barely a minute of in-play action across the first four minutes on the watch!

  12. Postpublished at 12:34 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March

    Blackburn 0-0 Norwich

Norwich are first to show in the sunshine at Ewood Park but Rovers manage to clear their lines before Todd Cantwell threads a glorious pass towards Augustus Kargbo down the Rovers left, only for his heavy touch to see him dispossessed on the edge of the Canaries box by Kellen Fisher.

    Lively start.

Joe Rothwell is recalled to the starting XI in place of Ilia Gruev, who drops to the bench.

Tony Mowbray has made two changes from the Baggies side which beat Oxford United last Saturday.

Sondre Tronstad returns to the bench after missing the last six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The big news for Oxford United is the return of captain Elliott Moore for the first time since injuring his adductor on New Year’s Day. He returns at centre back, while Will Vaulks and Mark Harris also come into the starting XI. Joe Bennett, Alex Matos and Matt Phillips are the trio to miss out.

Frank Lampard has left his starting XI unchanged from the win over Preston, but does have Haji Wright back on the bench for the first time in almost four months. Captain Ben Sheaf also remains amongst the subs as he continues his recovery from a calf strain.

Leeds have the opportunity to open up an eight-point lead at the top of the table, for a few hours at least, as they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Elland Road this lunchtime.

Daniel Farke will be hoping it's not a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's Show' following dramatic victories over promotion rivals Sunderland and Sheffield United, which made it five straight wins and 16 league games unbeaten.

The play-off race is shaping up to be one for the ages in the second tier with 10 teams separated by just seven points with a dozen games to go in the fight for the likely two remaining play-off spots, with Leeds, Sheffield United, Burnley and Sunderland looking certain of a top-six spot as a minimum.

Tony Mowbray's inconsistent Baggies remain in fifth spot despite having won three and lost three in their past seven games and going nine without a win on the road dating back to November.

They won't have it easy to break that duck today, however, Leeds have won 13 of their past 14 home league games, drawing the other, with the victories across that time coming via a combined 38-3 scoreline.

After winning their last league game 2-0 against Oxford United, Albion will be looking to claim successive victories for the first time since September.

    Blackburn v Norwich (12:30 GMT)

Valerien Ismael arrives for his first game in chargeImage source, Rex Features

The Championship play-off race is tightening up with 10 teams separated by just seven points, and it could be even tighter after today's lunchtime kick-offs.

Valerien Ismael takes charge of sixth-placed Blackburn for the first time as 10th-placed Norwich, just four points behind, are the visitors to Ewood Park.

"We have the possibility to dream... especially our fans. The most important thing is to have no regrets at the end of the season," the Frenchman told his new squad as they plot a return to the Premier League after 13 years away.

Ismael is wary of the threat of the Canaries, who have picked up four points from their past two on the road, telling BBC Radio Lancashire: "I have already seen a lot of clips of them, how they play, the way they want to play, to control the ball. We are prepared, we are ready for the game."

Norwich are unbeaten across their past six away league games against Blackburn, winning five of them, since a 2-0 defeat at Ewood Park in April 2012 in the Premier League.
