Samuel Duff: Allow the other GC contenders to use electric motors on their bike, though with his form, he'd probably still overtake them all

ian mccormack: stop a motorbike right in front of him, drive over his bike, give him a terrible bike, make him run - has this been tried yet?

Aiden Mac: make him ride for Cannondale

Matthew Harmonyx: Make him give Bradley Wiggins a backer through the Alps

Glorious views as the peloton sweeps over the river Rhone - this is wine making country,

And the peloton have had a sip of something because they're hunting down the four riders up the road - the gap is down to 16 seconds.

You may recall that Simon Gerrans had to withdraw after falling on stage 12.

He broke his collarbone and now has a few screws holding it all together.

    32km to go

Chris Froome momentarily gets detached from his Sky team-mates and has to bump over a verge in the middle of the road. He's obviously decent at hopping up kerbs.

So, if you're a sprinter, you're thinking about getting into position for a burst to the line.

If you're a yellow jersey contender, you're thinking about how to get there unscathed.

There's 47 seconds between the break and peloton.

If you bring this break back too early it opens the racing up again because everyone's at zero. Those teams that don't have a designated sprinter could go on the attack and mess things up again.

The gap between the break and the peloton has crept up to a minute. Steady Eddie stuff from the pack.

Rob Sandel: Make him ride the rest of the race on the neutral bike he had a go on after the crash? That was very funny to watch!

Peter: Set Froome's wheel axles off centre and align his pedals in the same direction

Chris Brown: Stop Froomey? Tie his laces together.

Dickiethefish: Make chris froome run the last 10k in his cleated shoes! That would level it out...
