Yet another 180 for Gary Anderson but he misses double top to finish it off. Has Phil Taylor got into his head?

Nope. The reigning Champions League of Darts holder is out after Ando finally hits the target.

    Sign the board, Phil.

  2. Taylor breaks backpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

    *Phil Taylor 6-10 Gary Anderson

Six maximums for Ando but a nervy leg after he misses double 10, double five, double two and double one to wrap it up.

Taylor, who has a bit of banter with Anderson, later cleans up and breaks his throw with double eight and we go again.

A huge break of throw. Gary Anderson, take a bow mate.

The Power needs six legs on the spin thanks to Ando nailing double five.

    *Phil Taylor 5-9 Gary Anderson

Stunning darts from Gary Anderson and he looks ecstatic as he nails T20 and double 18.

He regains a four-leg lead as the two players leave the oche for the break.

Two legs to go if Ando is to win this one.

Anderson needs to get his focus back.

I feel he needs to get on the winning track or Taylor will come after him.

You've got to give credit to Taylor, over the last few legs he's done enough to get close to Anderson and just rattle him a bit.

    Phil Taylor 5-8 Gary Anderson*

It's three legs on the bounce for Phil Taylor now and the momentum is all with The Power as it stands.

How times change. The crowd who had been on his back earlier on, now cheer 'Walking in a Taylor Wonderland' repeatedly and they sound delighted as he pins double 16.

    *Phil Taylor 4-8 Gary Anderson

Another Gary Anderson maximum - that's his fifth for those who've lost count at home.

The Power might well be having a resurgence, however. He throws double tops to break his throw.

    Phil Taylor 3-8 Gary Anderson*

That's more like it from The Power. It's exactly what he needed. He finishes on double 16 in an 11-dart leg.

But he's still five legs behind. Could this be a turning point for Phil Taylor?

  9. Eight legs in a row for Andersonpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

    *Phil Taylor 2-8 Gary Anderson

Better from The Power as he hits his first maximum of the match but Gary Anderson throws his fourth soon after.

It's an eighth leg on the bounce for Ando and he makes no mistake on double 10.

It's safe to say the Scotsman is flying and Phil Taylor looks rattled. The crowd are getting on The Power's back and Ando's taking advantage.

He wins yet another leg and breaks Taylor's throw with a supreme double eight and a 25 checkout.

    *Phil Taylor 2-6 Gary Anderson

Another 15-darter from Gary Anderson and he's not four legs ahead of the reigning champion.

He has three darts on double 15 and he finally gets it with his third.

The Power needs to turn it on here, lest the Scotsman get too far ahead of him.

So far, so good for the Scotsman.

If at 2-0 down you'd have said to him 5-2 at the break he might not have believed you.

But believe it Gary, it's yours to lose now.

  14. Anderson breaks againpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

    Phil Taylor 2-5 Gary Anderson*

Three 180s from Ando, now. He takes a 5-2 lead and what a turnaround that is at the break!

The Scotsman seizes the initiative after Taylor fails to take out 161 as he hits double four with gusto.

    Gusto, I say!

    *Phil Taylor 2-4 Gary Anderson

Another Gary Anderson maximum should send him well on his way to taking the leg but he makes a mess of taking out 80, missing 25.

It's a leg full of misses as Taylor misses three darts on double eight. Ando cashes in, however, as he finally hits double 10 to move two legs ahead.

    Wow.

Oh dear. Phil Taylor's left double tops and he misses on his first attempt and almost goes to walk off and celebrate before realising he's got another two darts at it...which he misses.

The crowd don't let him forget it and Gary Anderson nails double four to take the leg, the throw and the lead.

    *Phil Taylor 2-2 Gary Anderson

A strong end to the last leg is followed by a perfect start to the next one as Ando throws the first 180 of the match so far.

He finishes a 15-dart leg with tops to level it up.

  20. Anderson breaks backpublished at 19:58 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

    Phil Taylor 2-1 Gary Anderson*

Gary Anderson's fighting back here and he almost throws straight into the bull to checkout 170 but he narrowly misses.

The Scotsman is fortunate, however, as Taylor misses double tops and he easily pins double eight.
