"Another set piece that Arsenal never dealt with. Credit to Quinn for putting in another great cross and Davies reacts and produces a very good, composed finish."

Unbelievable. Arsenal are right up against it already and we have had less than 10 minutes.

The Gunners never recover after just about preventing a soaring David Meyer getting on the end of a set-piece and when the ball comes back in, Lukasz Fabianski can only parry Alex Bruce's header onto the post. Curtis Davies lashes in the loose ball from a tight angle to spark wild amber and black celebrations.

And as luck would have it, Hull are already set up to defend a lead with three centre-backs and just the one man up top.

Ahmed Elmohamady and Liam Rosenior have both done a great job so far.

"Hull fans are going absolutely mad. It was a rehearsed corner and although Huddlestone got the volley all wrong, Chester was unmarked to deflect it in."

Hello! The Tiger has just been thrown into the pigeon coop.

Stephen Quinn floats the Hull set-piece to Tom Huddlestone on the edge of the box. The former Tottenham man fluffs his volley, but James Chester flicks a heel at his mis-hit effort and sends it past a wrong-footed Lukasz Fabianski and into the bottom corner.

    Your move Arsene.

The teams are led out by their managers before Aston Villa fan Prince William comes out to press the flesh. Alan McGregor wants a cheeky word in the ear of the future king and Lukasz Fabianski gives the Duke a sly wink.

It is Arsenal fan Leona Lewis who belts out the traditional Cup final hymn, while a member of the Royal Navy awaits in the wings to bring on the trophy.

Lewis resists the temptation to add "Up the Gunners" to the final lines and on comes the silverware. Red ribbons on one handle, amber and black on the other.
