We've been asking you to tell us what you have achieved in the time since Arsenal last won a major trophy, in May 2005.

Ralph: Since Arsenal last won the FA Cup I've seen Rushden & Diamonds drop out of the league, get a new chairman, get to the play-offs, get another new chairman, go out of business, lose the stadium, start again from zero as fan-owned AFC R&D, form a youth team, form a senior team, start an academy, get promoted, get to the third qualifying round of the FA Cup. We're on our way back!

"One bookmaker has made Hull 25-1 to win, I'm not sure how right that is in a two-horse race but it does reflect how all the expectation is on Arsenal to do it. 35 major trophies have passed by since they last won a trophy with the FA Cup in 2005. They have equalled Manchester United's record of 18 Wembley appearances today, but the pressure is on them.

"There is no pressure on Hull at all and there is already a celebratory mood amongst their fans here. They see this as their big day out - after all the highs and lows of recent years, with administration, relegation, liquidation and promotion, they are now guaranteed a place in the Europa League and Premier League football again next season. This is their chance to really upset the odds."

Arsenal's last visit to Wembley was a traumatic one.

Wojciech Szczesny and Laurent Koscielny's late mix-up allowed Obafemi Martins to score Birmingham's shock winner as the Blues beat Arsenal 2-1 in the League Cup final three years ago.

A convey of 80 coaches started to rumble down from Hull at 09:00 BST this morning.

When those Tigers fans finished negotiating the north circular and disembarked onto Wembley Way they will feel like they never left home.

The city's trademark white telephone boxes have been temporarily installed in north west London as a tie-in with the City of Culture 2017 celebrations.

Those phoneboxes have played their part in Hull's rise to this stage.

The sale of the company that owned them, Kingston Communications, in 1999 helped fund the building of the club's present home.

Hull striker Matty Fryatt speaking to ITV: "It's special. We are fully aware of the occasion. No-one gives us a hope but we've got a game plan and hopefully we can cause an upset. We've got nothing to lose. It's all on to Arsenal. Hopefully we do our bit and can come away with the Cup today."

Former Hull City captain Ian Ashbee, who played for the Tigers in all four divisions between 2002 and 2011, believes the club's appointment of Steve Bruce has been instrumental to their success.

Bruce replaced Nick Barmby as Tigers manager in June 2012 and led the club to promotion in his first season before taking them to the FA Cup final and Premier League safety this time out.

"I thought it was a genius move to bring him in," he told BBC Sport.

"He'd been there and done it and won promotions out of this league before and he could attract players which is something we've struggled with in the past."

"Steve Bruce has won the FA Cup twice as a player but this is his first final as a manager and he has described this moment as the proudest of his career. In Hull's 110-year history they have never been to major final, but they do not want to just make up the numbers today. They have come through great turmoil over the last few years with financial problems and relegation and today is their big day out.

"They may have lost twice to Arsenal this season - including a 3-0 defeat just a few weeks ago - but Hull will be full of confidence. Their end-of season-form has not been good but all their focus has been on this match. Can they upset the odds? Wigan did against Manchester City last year and Hull will be hoping for a repeat."

"Classic FA Cup Final weather here at Wembley. It's hot and very humid and bound to take its toll on the players when added to the tension surrounding such a big occasion. Will it emerge as a major factor as the final goes on?

"Wembley's caterers are being very even handed today with the choice of desserts. You can have it in either Hull City's colours, or Arsenal if you prefer. Impartial food."
