  2. GOALpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

They can't, can they? Norwich reduce the deficit when Robert Snodgrass climbs higher than Jon Flanagan and plants a header into the back of the net. He just wanted it more than the Liverpool full-back. Game on.

  3. Postpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

We're into the final 15 minutes now and Raheem Sterling breaks down the right but his cross into the box evades everyone and Norwich take the opportunity to stream up the other end.

Hanham High School:, external Brendan Rogers is a really positive example of a #growthmindset manager/leader. Deserves to win.

Adam Brimblecombe:, external Can we get Brendan Rodgers on the plane to Brazil as well please?

Jon Cook:, external Brendan Rodgers is a football genius, simple as that.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:33 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

Phil in Dundee: Can't remember the last Liverpool game I watched where Martin Skrtel didn't pull shirts so blatantly. How he gets away without giving away a ton of penalties is beyond me.

Dave in Oxford: Liverpool's defence hasn't been that poor this game, considering they've had the most possession of our team. It's the midfield that haven't been up to it today.

Chris in Ipswich: It would be great to see Liverpool win the league in my lifetime, although perhaps more importantly Norwich City returning to the Championship.

Now it's Jonny Howson into the referee's book for a foul on Raheem Sterling. The winger showed good strength to hold off the challenge.

Those go in at the other end! Nathan Redmond takes a punt from 25 yards out and it cleans out Martin Skrtel but deflects wide off the big defender. From the corner, Russell Martin's header goes over the bar.

Norwich are still swinging and Robert Snodgrass's low daisycutter is turned around the corner by Simon Mignolet. Top save.

Alan Mackie:, external Two deflected goals for Liverpool. When it's going for you, it's going for you. Have to be in the position to take them though.

Paul Christie:, external Woeful managing from the Norwich boss. You're back in the game and he continues Gung Ho.

Andy Parkinson:, external It wouldn't be Liverpool if they didn't make you sweat a little bit!

Former Liverpool first-team coach Kevin Keen: "Norwich had just got themselves back in, got some momentum and that's a sucker punch. But you have to give Raheem Sterling credit for the way he carried the ball to the Norwich defence, even though his shot took a massive deflection. Sterling has great technique, looks fantastic on the ball and an eye for a goal."

  13. GOALpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

Game, set and match? Bradley Johnson gives the ball away in his own half and Raheem Sterling races forward, skips past one challenge and drills a low shot towards goal which takes a wicked deflection off Johnson, who had raced back himself, and loops over John Ruddy.

Bill in Hereford: Exactly the same as last week, 2-0 up and forgotten how to control the game.

Kevin in Wirral: Liverpool are sitting too deep and are in danger of repeating the same mistake as they did with City.

Andy in Belfast: Whatever Brendan Rodgers said to his Liverpool team at half-time, the players clearly weren't listening. Game on.

  15. Postpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

Nearly, just nearly. Luis Suarez turns Bradley Johnson inside out on the edge of the box and curls a shot just wide of John Ruddy's post. There's still plenty of magic left in those boots.

  16. Breaking team newspublished at 13:16 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

Rohit Deshmukh:, external Liverpool must make sure they don't take Steve Gerrard's "go again" words literally and concede two more goals.

Martin Satur:, external Going forward Liverpool are excellent, at the back they are poor.

Richard Hewitt:, external What did we say about Liverpools defence? Been shaky all game!

Should Gary Hooper now expect a telegram of congratulations from Jose Mourinho? Maybe if he scores a second?

  19. GOALpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 20 April 2014

It's been coming, and now Norwich have a foothold in the game. Liverpool are caught napping from a quick throw-in, the ball is whipped into the box from the right and Gary Hooper slams the ball home after Simon Mignolet makes a complete hash of dealing with the high ball.
