"Portugal's build-up to this World Cup has been completely dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo's fitness concerns. The two-time Ballon d'or winner has been struggling with tendinitis in his left knee and a thigh injury - but he took a full part in the 15 minutes of training that the media were allowed to watch here at Arena Fonte Nova.

"Despite the presence of strapping under his kneecap, Ronaldo appeared comfortable and with a full range of movement as he took part in the warm-up and a series of drills.

"Concerns were raised when he arrived more than an hour late for his scheduled news conference, yet he was quick to dismiss any speculation and insisted he is in good shape: 'I would like to be at 110% but I'm at 100% and I think that is enough to help the national team.'

Aergio Aguero is down clutching his head after a clash of heads with Ermin Bicakcic as they went up for a header and that will sting. Right in the cheekbone.

Andrew: Angel Di Maria will outshine Lionel Messi at this World Cup. Opposition teams will double up on Messi, allowing Di Maria the opportunity to express himself and affect the game. If Di Maria has brought his Real Madrid form with him to Brazil, then watch out world!
