Have both sides accepted their lot in Group B? It seems that way. Chile need a win to top the group but they've not upped the ante at all yet.

Dutch top group; Chile second
Spain and Australia already out

Have both sides accepted their lot in Group B? It seems that way. Chile need a win to top the group but they've not upped the ante at all yet.
The goalscorer is coming off. David Villa is replaced by Juan Mata, and that now means that every outfield player in the Spain squad has made an appearance.
Is that the last we will see of Villa in a Spain shirt? Yes. Yes it is.

"Chile seem to have that belief in themselves. I like the cut of them, their body language, their coach, their intensity and self-belief. They given each team they play a real run for their money, in the match against Spain they were the better team and I think they have been the better side in this game as well."
Matt Barron:, external Chile just look to dive at every opportunity. Considering how they played in the other two games, it's not doing them any favours.
They're all at it now. Fernando Torres tries a David Villa-style flick but his effort drifts wide - and he was offside too.
He played a Barry there.*

Dirk Kuyt gets a right earful from Louis van Gaal as he prepares to take a throw-in. The Dutch manager is not a happy man with this slack start to the second half. It's really flat.
This is the deadest of dead rubbers. Nothing to play for at all for either side, and it shows.
There's not even pride at stake really. Australia can be proud already after their fine showing against the Dutch, and not many Spanish fans will take solace from beating Australia.
Chile do work an opening on the right as Alexis Sanchez comes out wide to pick it up, he megs one man but Daley Blind slams the door in his face. The Dutch number five has had a really good tournament.

"Chile have nothing to lose. If they draw the game, they are probably going to play Brazil in the next round, so they may as well go for the win."

A wonderful early cross from Dirk Kuyt, vintage stuff from the Dutchman, but Georginio Wijnaldum can't quite connect with it. If he had done, he would surely have buried from seven yards out.
And we are under way in Curitiba too. Australia have number 10 Ben Halloran on up front, Adam Taggart the man off.
Arjen Robben gets us up and running - Chile have introduced Wigan winger Jean Beausejour at the break.
Daley Blind holding court in the tunnel, as Patrick Kluivert has his say. The Dutch look fired up as they re-emerge into the Sao Paulo sun. Can they turn it on in this half and send out a real warning to the rest of the teams?
Louis van Gaal has been up and out of his seat at regular moments in that Dutch dugout. Will he be happy with his side's display? As it stands they win the group but they were a long way from their best.
Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has not exactly taken his chance so far - he had just eight touches in that first half.
As Neil Lennon says though, the Dutch have not gone in for much midfield play today.

"It's a very different Netherlands team we are seeing today, there is no slow methodical build-up play, they are getting the ball forward quickly when Chile are pressing us and not taking any risks."
Tottenham and former USA goalkeeper Brad Friedel

"For the first 20 minutes Spain didn't look too interested. Once they got their heads round it they picked it up, got balls in the right areas and stretched Australia at times.
"They took control and at the end of the half probably had 10 or 11 chances to Australia's one. In the first 15 minutes Australia looked more likely to score and looked as though they wanted it more."
Not the best half of football then, but at least that is a rarity in this tournament.
There were 10 attempts in the first half between Chile and the Netherlands but not one man hit the target. Klaas Jan Huntelaar off the bench anyone?
Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon

"It has been a tactical battle. Louis van Gaal will probably be the happier of the two managers. In midfield it is very congested. Netherlands have been very disciplined and have restricted Chile to one chance."
As it stands then the Netherlands will win Group B and will play the runners up in Group A - which could be Brazil, Croatia or Mexico.
All to play for in the last 45.
