There have been goals aplenty in the first half in the Championship, with the pick of the games at Pride Park where in-form Huddersfield are taking on Derby, who are looking to get back on track after losing their last two. Johnny Russell has given Derby the lead for the second time in the game on the stroke of half-time, but it could still go either way at 2-1 to the home side.

Andrew Shinnie has missed a sitter for a much-improved Birmingham against table-toppers Watford. The Blues took the lead in Gary Rowett's first home match in charge, before Fernando Forestieri's equaliser to make it 1-1, but Shinnie had a gilt-edged chance with a header from inside the box to restore Blues' lead.

Middlesbrough are in control at 2-0 up at home to Norwich, Ipswich have a 1-0 lead at home to Wolves and Brighton, without a win in 11, lead 1-0 at home to Wigan.

In the 20:00 GMT kick-offs, Jamie Mackie has put Reading one-up against Rotherham and a double from Liam Feeney has put Bolton well on the way to moving out of the drop zone. They lead 2-0 at home to Cardiff.

Matt in London: Arsenal are playing their best football in the final third, but I can't help but feel that's mainly because their whole team is up there! Chambers and Gibbs are pushing up, Arteta and Cazorla are playing far forward, and the defence are playing a very high line. Anderlecht have snuck behind that line a couple of times already

"Arsenal have not looked that sharp despite their lead.

"If Arsene Wenger was being honest at half time, they haven't played that well and certainly when they get in to the latter stages of the competition, they will have to be sharper."

Will Real turn it up a notch in the second half?

"I have to say, when Rodgers gets those players into the dressing room, I don't think he'll have a cross word to say to any of them.

"They've worked really hard and pushed Real. Everyone is working their socks off."

Middlesbrough have extended their lead to 2-0 against Norwich through a Grant Leadbitter penalty, although it took referee Nigel Miller a short while to award the spot kick after Russell Martin's lunge in the area.

Mick McCarthy's Ipswich have the advantage on a special night for the former Wolves boss at Portman Road. Wolves defenders dallied on the ball at the back, it was pinched by the Ipswich forwards, then curled in terrifically by Daryl Murphy to make it 1-0.

Blackburn have the lead on their trip to Millwall thanks to a poked shot from Shane Duffy after a melee in the box.

Liverpool fans will be praying Ludogorets Razgrad can pull something out of the bag in the second half against Basel. The Bulgarian outfit are 2-0 down to the Swiss side, who took the lead through 17-year-old forward Breel-Donald Embolo, and strike partner Derlis Gonzalez added a second on the stroke of half-time.

In Group A Atletico Madrid are leading 1-0 in Sweden against Malmo, a team they thumped 5-0 on home soil last time out. Koke put the Spanish champions ahead when the midfielder calmly steered home Juanfran's cross. That puts Atletico top of the group as things stand with Juventus currently drawing 1-1 at home to Olympiakos after Alberto Botia's header cancelled out Andrea Pirlo's opener from a free-kick.

In tonight's other two games, Marco Reus has given Borussia Dortmund a 1-0 advantage over Galatasaray with a stunning volley, while Benfica's home clash with Monaco is goalless.
