Matt Fox:, external Looks like only the teams from Merseyside will pick up wins in Europe this week.
Sam Willson:, external Tim Howard has been in inspired form tonight!
Si's insight:, external Breathtaking control and vision from Eto'o for Everton v Wolfsburg. He's still got it.
It was all going so well for Danish side AaB Aalborg who were holding Steaua Bucharest after 50 minutes but after having goalkeeper Nicolai Larsen sent off, the wheels have come off and they are now 6-0 down.
Fiorentina are now 2-0 up against Guingamp thanks to Juan Cuadrado and in the other match in Everton's group, Lille pulled it back to 1-1 against Krasnodar.
Tim Howard will have earned his post-match chips and beans.
The Everton goalkeeper stretches full-length to keep out a trundling Kevin de Bruyne shot that came through a thicket of legs and threatened to sneak into the far corner.
Samuel Eto'o's first meaningful contribution is to get his backside into play, bumping off his marker around halfway, spinning and pinging a fine ball up to Steven Naismith.
With Wolfsburg stretched, Everton work the ball across to Aidan McGeady, but the Irishman's effort, aimed at the top corner, clears the bar.
Match of the Day pundit and former Everton defender Phil Neville: , external"John Stones is growing into a very good player - got a great temperament which is vital at this level."
Samuel Eto'o is off the bench and into the fray. Romelu Lukaku comes off to a big ovation.
And now Naldo curls a cute free-kick just wide of Tim Howard's near post with the Everton goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
Wolfsburg are still going at it hammer and tongs, but the clock and scoreboard are both against them.
Maximilan Arnold can strike a ball. The Wolfsburg man leathers another shot goalwards and, fortunately for Everton, it is straight at Tim Howard, the ball rebounding to safety off the American's shoulder.
Phil Jagielka's sloppy backpass beats Tim Howard to the byeline, giving away another corner. The England international makes up for it soon after, nicking the ball off Ivica Olica's bootlaces.

Nicklas Bendtner alert!
The former Arsenal man, sporting a rather smooth slick-back hairdo, is coming on in place of Daniel Caliguri.
The Everton fans seem caught between jeers and ironic cheers.
Niall, from Craigavon via text: (re Andrew from Richill, 21:04) Yes, Coleman is a great and talented right-back that could grace the position of many a great team Barcelona included. But why would anyone wish him elsewhere when he is already integrated at a great and upwardly mobile progressing team? Is it footballing talent you are discussing or the merits of teams with bucketloads of money?
Everton have come off the boil since Leighton Baines blasted home their third. Roberto Martinez is up out of the dug-out to focus minds and warm some ears.
Steven Naismith goes into the book as he clatters into Luis Gustavo on the edge of the box. Ricardo Rodriguez almost extracts more punishment, but his well-hit free-kick is pushed out by an alert Tim Howard. Great stop.
We asked for your opinions of Steven Naismith...
Alex, from London via text: This time last year I watched Naismith pass the ball to a blue shirt at Craven Cottage, I announced this was the most he has ever done for us. Now he can't find anything but the back of the net! Fantastic.
Kev, from Formby, via text: Naismith is a quality player. Great on the ball, always going forward and knows how to score.
Tommy via txt: Steven Naismith is the prime example as to how pure effort, passion and hard work can go a very long way into making a very good footballer, not the most technically gifted player but always popping up with goals and assists at vital moments - fair play!
Wolfsburg are pressing and probing and they are getting some joy. In fact, Luis Gustavo wastes their best chance of the match so far, side-footing a soft shot straight at Tim Howard after getting goalside of his man and the ball under control 15 yards out.
Hull City midfielder David Meyler:, external "Hope Wolfsburg bring on Bendtner, think he could change the game and score a few goals!"
