  1. PENALTY to LEICESTERpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 21 September 2014

Soft is the word that comes to mind! Jamie Vardy pushes Rafael, nothing is given, and then Vardy goes to ground under Rafael's touch.

Jay:, external That was both cheeky and classy from Ander Herrera.

Nathan Davies:, external I can't help but feel Wayne Rooney looks rather average in this Man United side. Lacks pace and that killer touch.

Krishan Goyal:, external Vlad Chriches is a huge liability. Why isn't Jan Vertonghen starting? He's the best centre-back Spurs have.

You can't afford to lose the ball cheaply with Angel Di Maria around. Leicester are slack in giving it away as they chase an equaliser and Di Maria tears away at pace, he finds Robin van Persie in space but his touch can't bring it in.

He wasn't signed to score goals, but Ander Herrera has his second in as many games. It's another good goal too, a cheeky backheel to touch home Angel Di Maria's low shot after Kasper Schmeichel had scrambled clear a fine cross from Rafael.

"Hugo Lloris did very well, Berahino's shot was hit firmly and swerved. He managed to knock it away. Sometimes goalkeepers don't get enough credit for stopping those shots that may be near to them, but do swerve."

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:41 British Summer Time 21 September 2014

A rare shot on target at the Lane, and it's a fine effort too! Saido Berahino runs the channel to pick up a through ball, does Vlad Chiriches easily and hammers in a left-footed piledriver which Hugo Lloris has to push clear.

  7. Postpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 21 September 2014

No shots on target at all yet for Spurs today in fact, with West Brom having one. It's been a better game than that suggests though.

Suheil Patel:, external So close to pipping Angel Di Maria for goal of the week. What a strike by Falcao.

Membery:, external I see Mauricio Pochettino is doing the same at Spurs as he did at Saints. Lots of possession but no shots on target.

Leicester full-back Richie De Laet is on the thinnest of thin ice. Booked in the first half, he brings down the flying Angel Di Maria again and is lucky not to get a second. Di Maria may see off a few full-backs this season. He can shift.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14:36 British Summer Time 21 September 2014

Wonderful technique again! Kasper Schmeichel is once more beaten by a fine piece of play as Radamel Falcao takes down a cross and then lifts a lob over his head, deja vu for the Dane, but this time the ball smacks back off the face of the crossbar. Almost a brilliant first goal in England for the Colombian.

"A good start by Tottenham, they are already threatening WBA and are moving the ball quickly again. But it still remains at 0-0. WBA's approach has been first class, they expected this to be a challenge but they have picked up that challenge. They have been adventurous, and have been prepared to play the ball in their opponent's half as well."

Jonny Evans is already on crutches and has his right foot in one of those protective boots. Could be bad news that for Manchester United.

George Fisher:, external If I was a Man Utd fan then of course I'd love their up-turn in form. But I'd still fear for them against the top four or five teams.

Sam Wilson:, external Leicester showing why I rate them so much, a proper team who know how to support each other.

Spurs come flying out of the blocks but that man Joloen Lescott is in the right place to head away Erik Lamela's delivery. Could Lescott be back in England contention before too long?

It looks like Leeds have their new boss after a three-week wait, during which Neil Redfearn has done a pretty fine job as caretaker boss (including a 3-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday). The new man in question is Darko Milanic. Who he? Well, he is a former Yugoslavia and Slovenia international, who won a load of trophies in his homeland as a manager with Maribor, but has spent the last 17 months in Austria with Sturm Graz.

Graz conducted an emotional farewell press conference for the 46-year-old this weekend, during which they handed him return tickets to Leeds. Apparently, that ticket is due to get him to Yorkshire at some point tomorrow to finalise his appointment.

Paul Huff, Accrington: Every team this year knows if you attack Man United you can score. Let's hope for a central defender in January!

Harry, Leicester: Tyler Blackett giving off the illusion of a good performance because he's calm on the ball. Been caught out of position a lot.

"Roberto Martinez made his intentions clear for the season ahead with a very strong line-up for Thursday's 4-1 Europa League win over Wolfsburg. The Spaniard admits the European campaign will test his squad to the limit and it remains to be seen how many changes he makes, if any, for the visit of Crystal Palace.

"Perhaps Everton would be recovering from a Champions League tie had it not been for the south-east London side, who last season dealt a severe blow to their hopes of a top-four finish with a 3-2 win at Goodison Park. It was an impressive display under their then-manager Tony Pulis.

"Neil Warnock has a difficult act following Pulis after Palace went onto finish 11th but he too has happy recent memories of Goodison, with his QPR team overcoming a virus to win 1-0 in August 2011."
