Robin van Persie's goal was his first of the season and first in the Premier League since May.
Possession, clearly, isn't everything. WBA might have only had 36% of the ball but have had five shots at goal and one on target.
It was one of those stories that makes people dislike footballers. In May, Yaya Toure supported claims from his agent that Manchester City "disrespected" him on his 31st birthday and as a result he was considering his future. Needless to say, the general public were not on the player's side. However, Toure has sought to put the record straight in an interview with Football Focus.
He said: "My agent made a little joke about it and people took it seriously. I was quite surprised about the way people and the media reacted to that.
"Over the summer there was a lot of speculation about birthday cakes and rubbish like that. It was disappointing for me. I've been in Manchester for four years now and I have never demanded a birthday cake."
One effort on target, one goal. have Leicester been watching DVDs of Villa in action?
A few miles away from our offices on Salford Quays, the big game of the day is stirring into life. Fans will be beginning to arrive, stewards will be receiving a final briefing and thousands of pies and hot dogs will be in their heated cabinets.
Will it be City fans or Chelsea fans celebrating tonight though?
Graham Jack Thirkil:, external As dominant as Man United are again, Leicester certainly aren't rolling over like QPR did. So much more character and togetherness.
Steven Whitehead:, external Forget Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao for a minute, Tyler Blackett has been really impressive from what we've seen so far this season.
MOTD's Martin Fisher at the King Power
"What a first 20 minutes we enjoyed. Angel Di Maria has been magnificent throughout, adding the second after Robin van Persie's first league goal of the campaign. But Leicester are still very much in this one."
MOTD's John Motson at White Hart Lane
"That must be a first for me commentating on a Premier League match - there was no stoppage time played."

"Spurs have put more in in terms of attacking play, but very close have been WBA. Bearing in mind the position they are in the table, WBA have played a very tight and close game. They are showing enough in this half to say to Alan Irvine: 'Have faith in us'. And it has been exciting. Whenever either side get possession of the ball they are looking to attack."
And that's the break at the King Power. A cracker of a game on our hands, with more goals to come.

Tom, Newcastle: Yes Man United's defence is bad, but is it that much worse than Arsenal's or Liverpool's? Going to be a lot of goals conceded by all three teams this season.
Russell, Nottingham: Jonny Evans injured again! He is not as bad a player as some make out, but he spends more time in the treatment room than on the pitch and for that reason he should be replaced.
Leicester continue to have a go at the Manchester United defence, but Tyler Blackett gets across to make a super sliding challenge to stop Jamie Vardy in his tracks. Almost half-time.
Gidoen Shceepers:, external Exciting seeing a positive, attacking United go forward, but nervous watching them defend. Rather odd.
JLC:, external Mata doesn't deserve to sit on the bench. Who misses out if United sign Ronaldo, too?
Brett Mills:, external If Man Utd add Ronaldo are we not getting into the realms of cheating at Football Manager? Not that I've ever done that...
Angel Di Maria can't get it right every time, a horrible slice sees him scuff a shot wide. He somehow gets a corner for it, and whips in a great delivery which Marcos Rojo heads over the top. Good chance.

"In fairness to the referee's assistant the flag went up straight away, it was not hesitant. Offside."
West Brom have the ball in the net when Saido Berahino lashes in - but he was well offside. At the other end of the pitch, debutant Joleon Lescott has been superb. He could make a real difference if they keep him fit.
If you are of a certain age, you will have spent many hours in the school playground attempting 'the Poborsky'. It was up there with 'the Yeboah' in playground terms.
Karel Poborsky scored this beauty of a chip for Czech Republic v Portugal at Villa Park in Euro 96, and Angel Di Maria has done a good impression for Manchester United in Leicester. The midlands, home of chips (and crisps).
Angel Di Maria needs some treatment after being shoved off the ball by Richie de Laet. Takes the skin off his knees and hands by the looks of it.
James C, Surrey: With their defensive frailties are Man United the new Newcastle under Keegan? We will score one more than you football.
Mike, Cirencester: I wonder what the odds are for 8-2 today...
