"If I was Joe Hart and I'm not back in the Man City team soon I'd look to move in January. If you're not playing, you're not first choice for your team, you cannot be first choice for your country.

"It's harsh on Hart, who has played very, very well this season. But if he doesn't play on Tuesday against Roma then it's clear he's not being rested, he's been dropped."

Hull v Manchester City tops the order on Match of the Day, a game which saw City manager Manuel Pellegrini make the surprise decision to name goalkeeper Joe Hart on the bench.

He was dropped last November but won his place back from Costel Pantilimon. Is Pellegrini wanting to see the same reaction?

Amar in Wolverhampton: Not good enough from Arsenal. Will Chelsea drop many points at home to teams of Spurs' quality? I doubt it.

Sam: As much as I love Wenger, I think he should go after this season. We need a change, and I think Klopp would be perfect, and he wants to win. I love Wenger as much as the next Gunners fan, but I think it's time for something else for Arsenal.

Andy: Complete rubbish. Arsene has been managing with his hands tied behind his back - wait till the end of the season to judge! Spurs had 30% of the game, says it all.

Bury slipped from top spot in League Two after Jimmy Keohane's 83rd minute strike gave Exeter a surprise 2-1 win and ended The Shakers eight-game unbeaten run. The hosts are enjoying a mini-revival after a poor start to the season, having now won three games on the bounce.

Stuart Beavon's left-footed strike was enough to hand Burton Albion a 1-0 win against Cheltenham at the Pirelli Stadium and take top spot.

Gary Rowett's side are one point ahead of second-placed Wycombe, who beat Cambridge 1-0 thanks to Paul Hayes's 63rd minute winner at Adams Park.

Wade Elliott's 74th minute strike handed league-leaders Bristol City a 3-2 win in their top-of-the-table clash with MK Dons at Ashton Gate. The Don's fought back from two goals down to make a real game of it but no sooner had Benik Afobe equalised for the visitors in the 73rd minute, than Wade Elliott hit back for the hosts, who extend their unbeaten run to nine games.

Peterborough move into second place and keep the pressure on at the top after Conor Washington's strike just before the break gave Darren Ferguson's side a 1-0 win against Fleetwood at London Road and ended a run of two defeats.

Leyton Orient, who parted company with manager Russell Slade this week, fought back from a goal down to lead 2-1 against Rochdale at Brisbane Road but couldn't hold on for their first home win of the season, eventually going down 3-2 as Matt Done hit a 66th minute winner.

Norwich City moved ahead of Nottingham Forest, who were held 0-0 at home to Brighton, at the top of the Championship after fighting back from a goal down to beat Blackpool 3-1 at Bloomfield Road. Nathan Delfouneso handed the Seasiders a 46th minute lead before a Donervorn Daniels own goal levelled the scores and Lewis Grabban and Josh Murphy scored to secure all three points.

Fulham caretaker manager Kit Symons boosted his chances of landing the job an a permanent basis after Hugo Rodallega's 71st minute strike handed the Cottagers their first league win of the season. Tim Hoogland's 63rd minute strike cancelled out David Cotterill's opener for Birmingham as Fulham maintained their winning form from the League Cup in midweek.

Darko Milanic's first game as Leeds United manager did not go to plan at Brentford. The Whites headed into the match on an unbeaten four-game run but were handed a 2-0 defeat by the Bees thanks to goals from Jota and Alan McCormack.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino: "I think it is a good result for us. Maybe Arsenal controlled the game and had the ball more than us but we played well and defended well. I am happy with the performance in a tough game. I think the draw is fair.

"We scored a great goal. This is our philosophy, which is difficult to keep for 90 minutes at the moment, but we are on our way."

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: "We had a lot of the ball and it finished 1-1 so I am frustrated. We had good spirit and determination. We had 77% possession in the second half which is unbelievable. I am frustrated because we dropped two points and I am frustrated because we didn't make enough of our set-pieces. You want to be rewarded for the work you put in.

"You always want to create more but that is the Premier League now, teams sit deep. I had reduced options as well because I lost players. I had only one option for an attacking player to bring on at half-time."

When asked if Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta would be fit for the Champions League game on Wednesday: "No chance. If it is a muscular problem I don' t see how they can be fit in five or six days time."

Jamie from Lincoln: The season's just started and I can't remember feeling more disappointed. I think Wenger needs to go, and bring in a manager who wants to win trophies. Sorry, but Wenger knows our weakness and for years he hasn't strengthened. Time to go, Wenger.

Tottenham goalscorer Nacer Chadli, speaking to Sky Sports: "I'm very happy to score in the derby. Erik [Lamela] gave me the ball and I just tried to shoot into the far corner.

"We defended well and with the pace we have we could cause Arsenal problems. As a team we fought for each other and that is important for the team spirit. We have one point at the Emirates and that is not bad."

Ryan Mason had a good game for Tottenham, especially after making his league debut in such a fixture.

The midfielder had rave reviews during his stint at Swindon last season, and evidently a bit of graft in League One has been character building for the 23-year-old.

  17. Player reactionpublished at 19:41 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who scored his first goal of the season, speaking to Sky Sports: "We did well to come back, but when we made it 1-1 we pushed on and tried to get the winner.

"Sometimes it's not about the best football, it's about who wants to win it more. In the second half we settled down and started to pass the ball more.

"I'll be working on scoring more as I have the potential to do that, but I also have my role to do defensively. As long as the boss gives me the licence to drive forwards and try and take people on I'm not too fussed where I play.

"We would have liked to have played some better football but it is important that we are not losing games. First and foremost we have to defend and then the more fluid side of our game will come."

Tottenham had just 31% of the possession in that game, their second lowest in a Premier League fixture from 2006-07 onwards. They are now without a win since the end of August.

  19. Chasing the gamepublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

The draw maintains Arsenal's unbeaten start to the season in the Premier League but something Arsene Wenger will surely be keen to address sooner rather than later is the fact they have had to come from behind in four of their six games this season.

They are fourth with 10 points, six behind leaders Chelsea.

"Tottenham showed a good, strong defensive spirit that kept them in the game. They did score against the run of play at the start of the second half, playing on the counter-attack. Arsenal dominated the lion's share of the game but didn't fashion that many opportunities.

"The Gunners just ran out of ideas and steam and they put in the effort and chased the game in the closing stages. Spurs will be happy with this result, while Arsenal will be a tad disappointed."
