Harry Pannell:, external Any predictions on the Man United v Hammers game? I see two big numbers...

Will Jackson:, external United look like a team that can score every time they get the ball, but concede every time they concede it.

Liz Tray:, external Aguero and Jelavic. The difference between world class and not world class. That wasn't even a half-chance. Man's a genius.

There are not too many chances at St Mary's but the away side are forced into an early change. Sandro clashes heads with a Southampton player and he has to come off. Karl Henry is the man to replace him. Not the disruption the struggling Hoops need...

This could be a cricket score. David Silva plays a simple ball into the feet of Edin Dzeko on the edge of the box and the striker cuts inside before curling a right-footed cracker into the top corner. City have now scored nine goals in their last 54 minutes of football. Not bad going.

It has been a pretty tame and even start at Selhurst Park. Leicester have marginally shaded possession but neither side have produced a threat on goal yet.

Manchester United nearly shoot themselves in the foot. A poor backpass from midfield releases West Ham striker Enner Valencia in on goal but he blazes his shot well high.

    Final Score

"An excellent goal from Manchester United. When they break, Wayne Rooney can just ghost in from that number 10 role and finish so calmly. That is why you play him there instead of Juan Mata; because he is such a natural goalscorer."

"Willian got in behind Aston Villa and, on the angle, unleashed his shot. It was a good save by Brad Guzan, but Willian collects and pulls it back, and a brilliant finish between the Villa keeper and the defender from Oscar.

"And all that came from a poor ball played towards Gabriel Agbonlahor. Chelsea won it, bombed down the other end and scored. That's how dangerous sides are at this level."

The Chelsea goal machine rolls back into life as Oscar gives them the lead. Great reactions from Willian as his shot is denied by Brad Guzan, but the ball comes back to him and he swiftly picks out Oscar, who sweeps home.

And now Manchester City strike. The champions open the scoring when Hull fail to clear the ball and Pablo Zabaleta heads the ball down for an unmarked Sergio Aguero to rifle home a predatory finish.

Premier League leaders Chelsea have started well against Villa as Branislav Ivanovic sees a cross plucked out of the air by Brad Guzan. Cesc Fabregas then forces Alan Hutton into a bit of a panicky clearance.

That's a butterfly-killer of a goal for a nervous Old Trafford. It's all too easy too, with Rafael putting the ball into the box from the right and Wayne Rooney shows his class to clip the ball over Adrian.

"Chelsea are the team that have set the standard this season. They're odds-on to win the league and we're just five or six games into the campaign. We haven't seen the weaknesses that we've seen from other sides. They play the Chelsea way and can dominate both on the wings and centrally.

"Aston Villa had people running off ill during the warm-up last week. Obviously, those players will feel better now so the team will be stronger. Against Arsenal, for half an hour Villa were very good and had a wonderful chance to take the lead. But they turned their back for just five minutes and found themselves 3-0 down.

"This will be a very interesting game. Aston Villa haven't got a bad record here over the last few seasons."

Colin Todd:, external Brendan Rodgers deserves a grilling after Liverpool's start to season. Suarez money spent (wasted) on Lovren, Lallana and Markovic.

Nathan Bright:, external Why did no one tell me about the 'win a chance to play in the United defence' competition? Congrats Paddy McNair!

Peter Malath:, external I am more worried about Marcos Rojo starting at centre-back than I am about the kid McNair.

Bury, who beat Burton Albion to replace them as league leaders last week, take their eight-game unbeaten record to 20th-placed Exeter. Their hosts are enjoying a mini-revival after a poor start to the season, having won their last two games, but both were away from home and they are yet to win at St James' Park.

Fourth-placed Southend host sixth-placed Shrewsbury in a high-profile clash at Roots Hall. Phil Brown's side are climbing up the league after three wins on the trot, while the Shrews slipped in the standings after a 0-0 draw with Newport last Saturday.

Second-placed Burton have now lost two league games on the bounce but will be hoping to preserve their 100% home record when they host seventh-placed Cheltenham.
