    Final Score

"Why wouldn't you want to keep Frank Lampard? He looks fit, he is a top class professional, and is that three goals in three games? He will always score goals."

  2. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:47 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Four minutes of 'Fergie time' at Old Trafford.

  3. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Paul Adam:, external Who does Pelle think he is? Pele?

Ben the Gooner:, external Diego Costa. A poor man's Mickey Quinn...

Graham Forde:, external Nervous here. So strange (and wrong!) watching Man United camping to see out the game.

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:39 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

West Ham are turning the screw now - Enner Valencia fashioning room on the edge of the area and his shot is deflected wide by Daley Blind.

    Steve Claridge
at Stamford Bridge for BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

"As soon as the game starts to open up, and you can understand why Paul Lambert was reluctant to throw Villa players forward, then Chelsea start to play. In the first half Villa made it difficult but now we're really seeing the quality of the Chelsea players. Any time they attack they open up Villa almost at will."

  11. RED CARDpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Swansea defender Angel Rangel blocks off Will Buckley to receive his second yellow card after being booked earlier for throwing the ball away, leaving the visitors to survive the last seven minutes with 10 men.

  13. League One updatepublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Dean Bowditch has got a goal back for MK Dons in their top-of-the-table clash with Bristol City. The Dons still trail 2-1 at Ashton Gate and ominously Bristol have scored three goals in each of their last three matches.

Momentum has swung back in favour of Rochdale against managerless Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road with Peter Vincenti making it 2-2 with a left-footed shot from close range.

Meanwhile, goals from James Baxendale, Tom Bradshaw and Anthony Forde have given Walsall a 3-0 lead against Doncaster.

Suheil Patel:, external Massive 15 minutes coming up at Old Trafford. Man United can't afford a draw or even worse a loss!

J:, external Why when the foul is against Angel Di Maria or Radamel Falcao it is deemed good break up play but when Wayne Rooney does it, it's a red card?

Magen Raymond B:, external You don't do that, Captain Rooney. Are we really applauding for such violent and stupid play that's a red card all day long?

BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at St Mary's

A QPR goal completely against the run of play, but it's an absolute belter from Charlie Austin who silences St Mary's. It's short lived though with Graziano Pelle sending the home fans wild with an incredible overhead kick.

"Five minutes of pure electricity," says former Saints manager Dave Merrington on BBC Radio Solent.

  16. GOALpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Well it has to be said, a third goal was coming. Brilliant work from the Chelsea newboys once again as Cesc Fabregas floats a perfect ball for Diego Costa, his shot is denied by Brad Guzan but Willian is on hand to poke in. Game over.

    Former Blackburn striker Jason Roberts
    Final Score

"This is goal of the season, one of the best goals I have seen. Graziano Pelle pops it up, and he has done an overhead kick across the keeper into the top corner. That is Roy of the Rovers stuff. Now you just pick up the ball and go home. You write a note to you mum saying it is all over, I'm not playing any more, that is it."

  18. League Two updatepublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

League-leaders Bury, who are on an eight-game unbeaten run, have hit back against 20th-placed Exeter at St James' Park. But Tom Soares' strike, to make it 1-1, might not be enough to keep them on top of the table.

Burton could leapfrog The Shakers at the top of the table with a victory over seventh-placed Cheltenham and they lead 1-0 at the Pirelli Stadium thanks to Stuart Beavon's left-footed strike.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

On closer inspection, it looks like the Argentine is actually going into midfield alongside Yaya Toure, with James Milner pushed on...
