    Captain Scott Brown's header into the path of Kris Commons allows his fellow midfielder to play the ball low into the path of Wakaso and the Ghana winger strikes a low controlled drive curling into the far corner of the net from 18 yards.

    Both sides tonight entered the Europa League draw after defeats in the Champions League play-offs.

    Salzburg lost to Malmo of Sweden and Celtic to Maribor having been given a reprieve despite defeat in the previous round by Legia Warsaw. The Poles were thrown out for fielding an ineligible player.
