Wow! What an end to the game. That dramatic late penalty earns St Mirren their first points of the season.

Kenny McLean is a picture of calm as he bangs the ball right down the middle.

A free kick for St Mirren in stoppage time... Right on cue, Kenny Mclean powers a shot in from 30 yards and it needs a good save from Scott Fox. From the rebound, Abdul Osman is punished for handball as he stops an attempted cross.

Anonymous (correcting me on St Mirren set-piece practice at 21:24): "Mclean has been hopeless all season Tommy Craig admits it is bad execution by Mclean and he was looking at changing things around."

St Mirren are in no mood to settle for a point as Jeroen Tesselaar rampages into the penalty box and tees up Callum Ball. The big striker looks to have taken too long to get the ball under control but muscles his way into a shooting position and Scott Fox needs to make a good near-post save with his legs.

A drilled strike from Kallum Higginbotham pinballs off a few legs inside the penalty box before St Mirren keeper Marian Kello can pounce on it.

We're into the final five minutes. Can St Mirren press on and find a winner or will Partick Thistle find a second wind from somewhere?

And now Thistle have used their full complement of replacements as Christie Elliot comes on for Steven Lawless.

Jim Goodwin tries his luck with a free-kick from 20 yards but it flashes low and wide, with everyone expecting Kenny McLean to take it. Maybe McLean should insists on the next one.
