    Can the Real resurgence continue? Since suffering back-to-back defeats early in the season, Carlo Ancelotti's side have won five matches in a row, and hammered in 22 goals in the process.

    And the bad news for Atletico Bilbao is that Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have both recovered from minor injuries in time for tonight's encounter.

    Lyon cruised to a 3-0 Ligue 1 victory over visitors Lille thanks to a hat-trick from France international striker Alexandre Lacazette.

    But the beaten visitors held on to third place ahead of the late clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco at the Parc des Princes.

    While the major European leagues are still in their infancy, others are heading towards the business end. And in Sweden, it is Malmo who are celebrating silverware.

    Captain Markus Rosenberg fired a late winner against AIK as the defending champions became the first team to retain the Swedish title for 11 years.

    His strike sealed a 3-2 win at the Friends Arena in Stockholm earlier.

    First up, we'll head over to Germany. Borussia Monchengladbach and Mainz both preserved their unbeaten records in the Bundesliga with a 1-1 draw.

    Max Kruse gave the hosts the lead, but Jonas Hofmann's penalty earned a point for Mainz.

    Gladbach have now gone 12 games without defeat, but were denied the chance to move up to second.
